The welcome appetizers were very good and appreciated; the breadsticks and bread with olive oil were delicious. We chose the tasting menu. For our appetizer, the marinated Alpago trout was a wonderful symphony of flavors. Next, as an appetizer, were the crispy snails with a double-garlic cream. The garlic was too overpowering and overpowered the flavor of the snails.
For our first course, we tried the oyster and porcini mushroom risotto, which, despite being a bit soupy, tasted good, although the watermelon was out of place. The Fusilli fracasso with rabbit ragù was very good.
The second course was the venison à la royale, which was neither unpleasant nor particularly wow-worthy; it was a bit salty, probably because of the vinegar, so we couldn't finish it!
The dessert was an unpleasant combination of porcini mushrooms and hazelnuts, which unfortunately didn't pan out.
The atmosphere was a bit cold and too formal for my taste, but the service was impeccable. The appreciation was heightened when the chef personally came out to ask if everything except the venison was enjoyed. The location was incredibly beautiful!
In conclusion, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit; perhaps it's better to opt for the à la carte menu to avoid some unsuccessful pairings.

Sunday lunch. Nice place. The entrée included three appetizers and homemade bread with olive oil. The first course was risotto with oysters, mushrooms, and marinated watermelon (good, but not exceptional). The seared zucchini were delicious. A small pastry was offered at the end, which was appreciated. The staff was kind but not very attentive. The waiter dropped the cap on the oil and didn't even notice. A waiter spilled water at the next table, and the restaurant manager picked up the breadcrumbs, but not for us (were we acquaintances or regulars? Who knows). Overall, it was good and I recommend it, but personally, I wouldn't go back for a second time.

One of the meals of the year at this irresistible 120-year-old inn. A generous stroll through its menu, with a menu created ad hoc, and a pairing to remember for a long time.
Aromatic and technically superb dishes from the young Damiano del Farra, who transforms tradition into an appreciable sensorial revolt.
If the trio of cured meats, both local and Slovenian, speaks of meticulous curing, the first trio of appetizers already reveals the technical prowess the kitchen will offer. That pickled zucchini ice cream is a tribute to simplicity and how tradition cannot be forgotten.
The smoked trout and its contrasts are brilliant. A dish that announces itself from the moment it arrives at the table with a heady aroma of smoky aroma.
The bigolis, its ragù, and the raspberry sauce. Another unforgettable trilogy. A savory punch that once again demonstrates how effective contrasts can be.
The display of generosity and technique in the lamb game, with six effective preparations, elevates Alpago lamb to an unforgettable taste bud.
An impressive selection of wines that cater to more than just the transalpine region.
Delicate and courteous service that always strives to make the customer happy.
Outstanding homemade bread and breadsticks. Riedel glasses enhance the wine experience.
Highly recommended.

Five stars for an accommodation with heart and soul!
We were passing through and luckily landed in this wonderful accommodation. From the moment you enter, you can feel the attention to detail with which the house is run. The furnishings are very tasteful and inviting.
Our room was not only beautiful but also offered every amenity you could wish for.
A special highlight was breakfast the next morning. It was simply perfect! From homemade jam and freshly squeezed orange juice to a rich selection of dishes – nothing was left to be desired. The scrambled eggs were particularly noteworthy, as they were prepared with a special cheese flavor and lots of love.
Unfortunately, we missed the attached gourmet restaurant on the ground floor because we were only wearing our cycling clothes. But the ambiance was so wonderful that we will definitely eat there on our next visit near Lago di Croce.
Overall, this accommodation offers extremely good value for money. We can recommend them without reservation and look forward to seeing them again!

In short, nothing was missing.

If you happen to be in the area, have dinner here and you can also sleep in the super cozy rooms.
Super breakfast with croissants, cakes and jams all "homemade".

Excellent culinary experience, in a small village in Alpago. Tasting menu and also à la carte. Everything good from appetizers to dessert, with very particular sauce combinations for the various dishes. Good service.
