Locanda Rovicciano In Castel ritaldi

Located in the countryside and far from the chaos of the city, Locanda Rovicciano offers attentive and tasty cuisine. The menu is varied and carefully prepared, the service is fast and professional. We stayed at the property for the second time. The apartment we slept in is rustic, clean and spacious. I heartily recommend it to anyone who loves cooking, chef Andrea is a guarantee!!

Spent a nice summer evening here. Ate outside. Pleasant location in a well-kept garden. An old Golden Retriever was sleeping. Ate well. The highlight was fried brains, which I hadn't eaten since the mad cow epidemic. Nice memory. Service not slow and effective. Friendly Florentine chef. Reasonable prices. We'll be back.

Lunch at the inn was really excellent, I found every dish tasty as well as the wine. The room is cozy in the style of an old farmhouse. The mezzanine is also nice, shame about the creaking of the tables, because with a newborn the silence when sleeping is sacred... and here I unfortunately have to complain about the overnight stay. We returned to the room at 11 pm and we hear loud music, karaoke and screams of laughter. I spent an hour trying to put my daughter to sleep, I couldn't sleep a wink because of the laughter of drunk women... this mess until 1:40 I also tried to keep the windows closed but we risked suffocating from the heat and the mess could be heard anyway... the next morning they told us that almost every Saturday night they do karaoke. So if you decide to stay overnight with children (on the search they give it as a suitable place) I recommend you ask if they will party until late. It's a shame to have had this negative experience, for everything else everything is ok. Advice

Locanda Rovicciano is one of those places that strikes you before you even open the menu. The outdoor garden is well-kept, quiet, surrounded by greenery: ideal for an outdoor lunch or a quiet dinner away from the chaos. The cuisine is the real strong point: well-thought-out dishes, never banal. There is attention to detail, both in the combinations and in the presentation. You can feel the desire to offer something different, without losing the link with tradition. The raw materials are quality and the result is felt in the taste. The service, on the other hand, is a bit inconsistent. At times inattentive, with some forgetfulness and times that are not always fluid. Nothing serious, but a little more attention would make the difference. Despite this, the experience remains positive. It is one of those places where you eat well, you relax and you want to return. With a little more effort on the hospitality side, it could become an absolute point of reference in the area.

We stayed for two days in this beautiful place surrounded by greenery where peace and tranquility reign supreme. I am not giving 5 stars because in my opinion there are some small things to improve. First of all, the inn is very spartan being in the countryside, however we found a lot of gnatele both inside the room and outside in the courtyard. The sofa cushions were very dirty and in my opinion the lighting in the bathroom and bedroom could be improved a little with slightly stronger lights. For the rest, the price is very in line with what is offered. The very kind owner offered us a small breakfast that was not included in the price.

La locanda di Rovicciano... Secluded place, romantic atmosphere, amazing cuisine. We had everything from appetizers to desserts. Everything was excellent. The owner and his waitress were welcoming and very kind. Precise and fast service, even though the place was almost full. We will definitely return if we happen to be in these parts. Highly recommended!!!

Wow, I haven't eaten in such a good restaurant for a long time. A real rural inn with super-friendly service and excellent food!

Il locale si presenta bene anche se molto piccolo all'interno con una sala più grande e dei tavoli all'ingresso.All'interno le volte basse portano ad un effetto rimbombo e la musica di sottofondo rende impossibile conversare senza urlare.Molto meglio lo spazio esterno,tutto sommato ben curato.Per quanto riguarda il cibo ho mangiato con menù prefissato e quindi non posso esprimermi su ciò che il locale propone alla carta.Sono rimasto deluso dalla quantità (assaggi veramente miseri sia di pasta che di carne) e purtroppo dalle mancanze di un giovane cameriere,forse alle prime esperienze.Chi è stato più volte negli anni mi ha detto di aver notato un peggioramento generale,spero che le recensioni servano per tornare ai vecchi fasti.Buon lavoro!

Che dire… siamo capitati in questo ristorante per caso, non avevamo posto dove cenare e abbiamo provato a chiamare per sapere se avevano disponibilità. Gentilissimi, ci hanno ricavato due posti. È stato tutto perfetto: dall’accoglienza, fino al conto. Il locale si sviluppa in un vecchio frantoio, il posto è ben curato e bellissimo. Appena seduti ci hanno offerto un aperitivo a base di vino bianco e pasta di pane fritta… antipasto crostone con burro di pecora e tartufo fresco, primi buonissimi, quaglia sublime, per concludere con un dolce da 5 stelle. Personale gentile, simpatico e preparato, location da 10 e lode… che dire, consigliatissimo! RAPPORTO QUALITÀ PREZZO PIÙ CHE ECCELLENTE!!! (Abbiamo pagato 69€ tutta l’esperienza)
