My husband and I went for dinner for the first time a few days ago. To say it was better than a dream would be an understatement. The food was excellent, and the appetizer buffet was fantastic. The only problem was holding back; everything was so good you wanted seconds and even thirds. The first and second courses were very good, and then the dessert buffet was beautiful and undoubtedly delicious. But we had to leave; the third round of appetizers filled us up. Besides the food, which was truly excellent, their strength is the location; to say it was magical would be an understatement. It felt like being in a bubble suspended in space and time. The candlelight, the period furnishings. The old mill that hosted us. Truly a dream.

The location is very beautiful; I would improve the lighting in some areas. The appetizer and dessert buffet is very rich and varied. The radicchio risotto was too watery for my taste, mostly at the expense of its texture and flavor. The braised beef was very good and tender. Given the price, the location probably plays a role, as the food doesn't justify the price. I wouldn't return.

I've been here for dinner with my boyfriend for our anniversary two years in a row, the last time on Saturday. I'm enchanted by this place: soft lighting, delicious food, a timeless place where souls rediscover the beauty of spending time together talking.
And what about the dessert buffet? Fantastic. Although my favorite part remains the cheese tasting.

We had dinner at this restaurant, and I have to say I don't understand those who say the quality-price ratio is poor. I'd say the opposite: they give you too much food for that price. The location is fantastic, the staff is very kind, the food is delicious, but man... too much. I would omit a first course or even two to better savor everything and shorten the dinner time. People were tired and too full. Some left without seeing the end because they were exhausted. In this era of optimizing food resources, I find it a waste of energy and raw materials. In a location that takes you so far back in time, it would be nice to remember that once upon a time, a dinner like this could only be found at Versailles and not in a mill. I would also reduce the number of seats. Too many people, there were tables where there shouldn't be tables but spaces designed for people to pass by. The elegance and intimacy of the place are lost, creating a situation of elbowing and it feels like the movie "La Grande Bouffe". Vulgar in such an intimate setting. I advise restaurateurs to easily raise the price to 100 euros (they'll spend that anyway because the flowers and candles alone are worth that much), remove one or two dishes, and offer a more exclusive and less chaotic service. It's less of an effort for you and people get less tired, but they try everything because it's all delicious and worth it. I would go back to the origins of how you started, where it felt like a big family in a mill, not at a carnival. Anyway, truly amazing congratulations and very well done.

Locanda Rosa Rosae proved to be the perfect setting for my daughter and son-in-law's wedding. The rooms are well-appointed and comfortable, the service was impeccable, and the location added a magical touch to the event. We highly recommend it for a special occasion.
