Kind and very polite, clean and well-kept place. We ate and drank very well. Experimented dishes with great research behind them.

Excellent food, I also appreciated the formula of trying many dishes but I didn't like some of the starters. Good selection of wines and honest prices. Service a little slow even though I visited midweek and there were few other diners. The tortellini and all the second courses I tried were spectacular.

Restaurant between Bologna and Ferrara, Stellar quality-price ratio. I highly recommend the language even to those who have never tasted it, Really excellent. WELL DONE!

Culinary experience of great depth: menu not extensive but still varied and intriguing, excellent raw materials, remarkable creativity. Particular but welcoming environment (plenty of space between the tables), varied and different from the usual wine list. The only flaw: cold staff, not too well trained. Characteristic owner, courteous and smiling (and that's no small feat)

Very nice place, the dishes are refined, they are not the classic recipes but here they try to raise the bar and while they succeeded with the appetizers and the first courses perhaps it doesn't happen with the second courses, the diaphragm for example was seasoned with too much sauce intrusive. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely be back to try something else.

Nella degustazione a sei portate dell’altra sera, spiccano diversi lati positivi. Quelli non legati al cibo sono il gentilissimo servizio, la cordialità ed il suggestivo dehors. Durante la cena abbiamo assaggiato una chitarrina alla faraona e fegatini da paura (in senso buono), un’azzeccatissima rapa in salsa al pepe verde ed un agnello alle erbe con limone bruciato, come si dice dalle mie parti “da andarci apposta”. Lo spaghetto al pomodoro, che aveva come coprotagonista il cocco, è stato un piatto che ci ha sfiorato senza colpirci: il cocco era un ospite forzato e poco convincente. Il mio dolce al peperone sulla carta interessante, ma Nel risultato finale una provocazione e non un dolce, tantomeno un dolce buono. I tempi sono stati molto lunghi tra un antipasto e l’altro, poi via via si sono ristretti, portando nel complesso ad una tempistica sensata.

Bontà finezza cortesia, queste sono le parole che mi vengono in mente pensando alla locanda pincelli. Di tanto in tanto torniamo qui già sapendo che usciremo pienamente soddisfatti. La loro cucina è bontà e innovazione con semplicità allo stesso tempo. Il personale è sempre corretto e gentilissimo sempre attento. Merita il primo posto, dell Emilia Romagna.
