We had a good meal with good service. Santa Maria di Bobbio is a pretty little village above Bobbio, a little far from Piacenza, about an hour or so. The food is high quality and the portions are generous. The owners were kind and helpful. There's both indoor and outdoor seating, so there's a good selection. The first courses were good, and we also enjoyed the second courses, but I think the cheese board was worth it above all else. If it weren't so far away, I'd go back more often.

It's a beautifully located restaurant, but you shouldn't drive right up to the door; park in the small town instead.
The service was extremely friendly and accommodating. They explained all the dishes to us and also recommended what else we should order. It was a great experience.
The food is exceptionally good and very reasonably priced.
All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you for a lovely evening.

We went there as a couple, based on a recommendation, and treated ourselves to a multi-course meal. The food is very good, leaving nothing to be desired!
Leo and Paula are very friendly people; if we're in the region, we'll be happy to come back.
