A small hotel in the middle of the Alps. The food is really excellent, especially in the evening, with a 4 course menu. It all feels very familiar, but you have to be aware that there isn't much outside except mountains. Tips nearby include the Rocca Provenzale, cycling (Coll d'Agnello) and hiking

Right in the heart of Valle Maira lies this gem. Good hospitality, good food and the location is great for nice and challenging hikes in the area. Nice to have a sauna after a long day in the mountains. We got to experience beautiful autumn colors in October and snow-covered mountain peaks. Simply the best if you like mountains!

A fantastic place in a wonderful setting, Valle Maira. Nice rooms, delicious food in the evenings and a fantastic breakfast buffet with delicious local cheeses, charcuterie and our own honey. Everyone who worked there was friendly and helpful. Perfect starting point for mountain tours of various kinds (we hiked). The host is a mountain guide and gave us lots of nice and good tips. We would love to come here again ❤️

Beautiful location, well-kept place both internally and externally. The service and the menu left me hesitant. I don't want to say insufficient but not up to par with everything else. However, positive experience. 10 for cleanliness

Very well-kept and warm place, tasty and tasty cuisine, medium wine list. Naturally it has the added value of being in one of the most beautiful Occitan valleys, Val Maira. Excellent evening spent.

14/12/2024: The wonderful, tasty food, presented as if in a starred restaurant, with captivating flavours. the location is also very refined, warm and comfortable. The only measure I would use to enhance and complete this experience is to include a sommelier on the staff who does this professionally, who can enhance the wine list and advise without hesitation. The presentation at the table by the chefs was beautiful, much appreciated. Chef Claudio is friendly, nice, a good host who greets his guests at the end of lunch. Plus, open kitchen
12/12/2024: Guido restaurant is located in the splendid Villa Reale of the Fontanafredda estate immersed in the hills of the Langhe, magnificent frescoes and tables set with great class... the chef Ugo Alciati is the oenologist brother Piero and matre' di Sala know how to give their guests an experience unique, the impeccable service, the Sala staff very professional and prepared, the mise en place top marks from the first to the last dish, a food and wine experience fit for kings and queens, veal with tuna sauce Lidia's famous agnolotti with roast sauce etc... the super desserts. the ice cream from Alciati is a fairy tale... The wine cellar is worthy of envy... The famous royal chocolate truffle made in Alciati is absolutely worth trying... If you pass by Fontanafredda in the Langhe, definitely stop by
