Very personally and lovingly run hotel with very good food (especially in the evening) and snacks/cakes. The rooms are modernly integrated into the old house - really beautifully done. Great starting point for tours in Valle Maira. We really enjoyed our time there (March 2025) and definitely want to go there again.

A small hotel in the heart of the Alps. The food is truly excellent, especially in the evenings, with a four-course menu. It all feels very familiar, but you have to be aware that there's not much outside except mountains. Nearby attractions include the Rocca Provenzale, cycling (Coll d'Agnello), and hiking.

Ristorante Il San Pietro

06/04/2025: An evening of romance and good food. Last night my husband gave me a surprise: very perfect!!! The San Pietro restaurant in the pedestrian area of ​​Limone has always been a must for those who want to dine (or have lunch) in a restaurant with an elegant and old-fashioned setting. The tables, rigorously round, are arranged in such a way as to guarantee the privacy of the guests. In the center you can admire a large wooden table on which stands, among other things, an exceptional display of cheeses. We were sitting next to the fireplace. Truly superb menu. I have celiac disease and a lot of attention was paid to me: fassona meat marinated with herbs, crumbled egg yolk and sweet and sour onion. The meat is very tender, tasty and not at all salty. My husband enjoyed a very soft lamb paté (at room temperature and not frozen as often happens) with brioche bread and caramelized onions. Applause-worthy first courses: for me risotto with sausage, Barolo and goat's blue cheese. Perfect cooking and delicate flavor despite the tasty ingredients. For my husband, an extraordinary tagliatelle filled with wild boar stew: a unique flavour, unparalleled softness and, to conclude, the owner of the restaurant delighted us - in every sense - with a soft zabaglione expertly prepared in front of us! Truly a huge round of applause to the chef and his team for giving us a wonderful evening! See you soon

11/05/2025: We had a great time. We were welcomed with extreme courtesy and helpfulness. The girls on staff are very kind and friendly. They also gave us great recommendations for a couple of places to do tastings. The food was really great; from the appetizer to the dessert everything was impeccable. Stunning environment. When we are in the area we will definitely be back!
10/05/2025: Very high quality dishes from start to finish. The tasty and particular gardener of the appetizer, the delicious first courses and the dessert are the icing on the cake that concludes this delicious typical Piedmontese lunch. Very kind and super helpful owner.
