A day of total peace, relaxation and fun at the Tenuta "Ruffino" in Poggio Casciano.
We were guests of the Le Tre Rane restaurant, welcomed by Vittorio, accompanied by Giada and Alessio, where we were able to taste their creations.
Marinated meat, citrus mayonnaise, rocket pesto and toasted pine nuts.
Chickpea hummus with cooked and raw vegetables, fried courgette flowers and herb oil.
Roasted aubergine-filled buttons, fresh tomato puree, goat cheese and basil cream.
Sliced venison, blueberry jelly and aubergine quenelle.
Maremma beef fillet with grilled cardoncelli mushrooms.
A beautiful visit to the cellars, the swimming pool and the apartments that make up the villa followed.
We couldn't leave without buying a bottle of Modus Primo, a white Aqua di Venus and a rosé, and their excellent Vinsanto.
Professionalism and courtesy also in the shop.

Location bellissima, un luogo incantevole, tranquillo, sembra di entrare in un piccolo mondo incantato. Ristorante da encomio a mio parere. Cibo ottimo, senza troppo pretese ma ben fatto e con prezzi assolutamente adeguati (in altre città a quei prezzi si ha accesso a qualità nettamente inferiori). Vino una garanzia, ma d’altronde non ci si può aspettare nulla di meno da una cantina storica come questa.
Personale educato, preparato, accogliente ma discreto. Menzione particolare meritano le stoviglie che sono forse l’espressione un po’ più visibile da fuori della cura che la proprietà ha deciso di dare a questo ristorante.
Io mi sono innamorata di questo luogo, ci tornerò e spero proprio di amarlo anche di più la prossima volta. Bravi davvero e un grande grazie!

Location bellissima e molto curata, appena a pochi minuti fuori Firenze ma nel verde che ti avvolge in una tranquillità rilassante. Posto adatto anche per eventi di livello.
La qualità delle materie prime e la realizzazione degli chef sono di altissimo livello. Affidatevi a Claudio ed al suo team giovane ma con una preparazione ed attenzione al cliente davvero notevoli. Merita assolutamente di essere provato.

The quality of the food at this restaurant was very delicious. We had the pate antipasto which came with liver pate that was wonderfully flavorful and creamy, a liver creme brulee that had a strange spongy consistency, and a meatball with a perfect texture. The primi we shared was a creamy funghi dish. The anatra was very tender. Overall, this was a pleasurable dining experience

The environment is very beautiful, the restaurant in shades of dark powder color is inside the Ruffino structure in Poggio Casciano. The choice of the menu is limited, in general the dishes are well presented and of a more than pleasant taste, well balanced but still tasty. Both the desserts and the cheeses are only sufficient. A positive mention instead goes to the bread made with 00 flour and 7 wholemeal flours served together with the oil from the Santedame estate, which was equally excellent. Wine list covering several vintages of the Riffino estates, with very limited markups. Have a good experience!
