Excellent dinner with exquisite cured meats and cheeses, all accompanied by a top-notch wine and beer cellar! Very good value for money!

I stayed 1 night on Wednesday for work, very convenient parking, spacious room and bathroom, warm, clean and comfortable, it's a shame I didn't try the kitchen because it was closed, the "set" of hams and cheeses promised well, very kind staff

This historic establishment is unique. It's hard to define it as a tavern or a restaurant, not to mention that it also offers accommodations. Given the distance we traveled and our curiosity, the evening was rewarded with a pleasant one. The town where it's located offers nothing touristy, just another hotel (read another review) and little else. That said, if you're coming from far away, it's best to call and book. We were greeted upon arrival by a friendly waitress who showed us to a nice table (other establishments or managers would have had it for at least eight people). The waitress, after our curiosity and explanation of the menu, sent us the owner. We started with their bread and olive oil, followed by a tasting of cured meats and cheeses, and then dessert. All the dishes are delicious, with excellent flavors and aromas, and generous portions. The wine list is also beautifully presented. The prices are obviously above average, closer to a fine restaurant. The dining room is spacious, with comfortable tables assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. They could have made it a little cramped, but they didn't—a plus for a place that focuses on quality and customer service. I'd like to point out that they also have seating in a mezzanine and in a room near the entrance (more used for enjoying good wine). The only precaution I'd take is to modify the presentation of the vermouth and dishes prepared by one waiter: he has a loud, shrill voice, and so the same presentations are heard repeatedly in the dining room (which disrupts conversation at the table). Various payments are accepted.

The rustic and welcoming atmosphere, finally a place with pleasant background music. Very friendly service and good quality dishes, without overpriced. Try everything and ask for recommendations... their vermouth is a must.
