It has been a while since I really enjoyed a meal this much. This is a beautiful location. We enjoyed the lasagna al ragu bianco and the Tris di canerdeli in ricotta. Both delicious. Their white house wine from the Veneto region was splendid. Add the friendly and attentive staff and it was a lovely experience. We will return.

Exceptional restaurant in a wonderful location. We had a wonderful dinner; the dishes were high-quality and made with excellent ingredients. The staff was truly friendly and professional. Highly recommended!

A beautiful place that we got to enjoy for three whole days. Everyone at Locanda La Baita was super kind and they made us feel welcomed. Everything from the breakfast to the dinner was carefully prepared and delicious. Thank you!

A charming place immersed in a unique natural setting, filled with the scents and delicious food. Chef Michel will take you on an unforgettable journey of flavors! The staff is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. A convenient location for hiking trails and visiting charming villages. Beautiful rooms, meticulously maintained, like every other area of ​​the property. Truly top-notch!!! 🍷

We went for lunch. Everything was delicious, from the mushroom starters to the chef's experimental dishes. Not to mention the impeccable and welcoming service, from the lovely, smiling girls to the professionalism of the sommelier and the friendly waiter Luca. Thank you so much for the wonderful lunch.

Abbiamo pranzato in questo posto il sabato santo e siamo stati benissimo sotto ogni punto di vista: accoglienza, ambiente, cibo e prezzo. La baita è in una posizione davvero bellissima da cui si gode di un panorama a 180 gradi sulle montagne. Le sale sono tutte a vetri ed è quindi possibile ammirare diversi scorci da ogni tavolo. I piatti sono molto curati e denotano una accurata ricerca negli ingredienti e nella preparazione. Il servizio è professionale ma molto accogliente e il prezzo corretto con la qualità è il posto. Buono anche il vino della casa.

27/08/2025: This was the best Rifugio we stayed at during our Alta Via Hike. It is technically little off the route, but is definitely worth the detour. The room was spacious, compared to many others we experienced. Since they can accomodate only about 10 people, there is a very cosy atmosphere. The staff was very kind and the dinner was by far the best. It was also possible to order from regular menu, since they host other customers. I cannot recommend it enough :)
21/08/2025: We hadn't booked, but the girl found us a table for two (so far so good). We waited 25 minutes before they asked us for drinks. Another 10 minutes for the menu. But despite this, the dishes arrived fairly quickly. The prices were quite high, but good.

08/12/2025: A very well-kept restaurant with excellent quality food. Reservations are recommended; unfortunately, the kitchen closes at 9:00 PM. We had the pasticcio with porcini pumpkin and cheese, which was truly delicious. The Fassona beef tartare was also very good. The French fries and mixed mushrooms were a perfect contorto.
08/12/2025: In September 2025, during a performance at the San Tomaso Agordino Barley Festival, we met and savored Chef Giacomo's cuisine and took note of the restaurant's name. To avoid surprises, we booked a table and easily reached the venue. The restaurant was very welcoming and meticulously maintained. The menu was extensive, offering a wide selection of meat, fish, and vegetarian and vegan options. We began with a Tyrolean appetizer of venison speck and hay cheese, followed by tartare with various sauces, followed by the dish of the day: wild herb gnocchi in fondue and macaroni with crispy speck, all accompanied by a glass of Valpolicella Ripasso. We'll try the main courses next time. To finish, we enjoyed a blueberry panna cotta—truly out of this world.
