A gem in Ascoli! I can't find a single flaw... The atmosphere is refined, welcoming, and unique. The service is fast, professional, and pleasant. The cuisine, what can I say?...excellent, refined, delicious, with top-quality ingredients. We come here often and have never been disappointed. An experience you absolutely must try!

I ate at this restaurant last night and everything was perfect. The spaghetti with tomato sauce was the best I've ever had. The atmosphere was lovely and the service excellent. Recommended!

The two of us had a wonderful meal. The cuisine was simple but refined, the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. And it's a truly unique location in the center of Ascoli Piceno. I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.

The restaurant's name translates to "The Imperfect Inn," and the name (unfortunately) is apt. Five of us were staying at the neighboring hotel and made a reservation here based on the positive reviews. Positive reviews can only give a rough idea, and it's also a question of what you're comparing it to. The restaurant's ambiance is truly beautiful, with a very personal touch, and we immediately felt at home. We always order quite a lot, which is also in keeping with the restaurant's philosophy. We had a bottle of aperitif (Spumante), as both(!) Franciacorta wines on the menu were sold out..., two bottles of wine, and both starters and main courses. What was good: The food is refined and, as is the case in restaurants of this standard almost everywhere in Italy, of good quality. My ox cheeks were very salty, which you have to like, but it was still acceptable. All the other dishes we had would have been good, if they had been served almost simultaneously... And that was a very negative experience... After waiting a comparatively long time (40 minutes) for our starters, they at least arrived at the same time. The same thing didn't work out for the main courses. For the five of us, they arrived about three minutes apart, and the last course (Pasta Mista) only arrived after we complained, ten minutes after the fourth of us had received their food. Incidentally, during the ten-minute wait, the neighboring tables, who had ordered later than us, were also served two Pasta Mistas, but not us... Now to the service: The service is on request, meaning we weren't asked if we had any other requests during our visit, but had to ask the waiters to come to us. This needs to be improved. We had the impression that there was no fixed assignment of waiters to the tables. So, apparently, no one felt responsible. Conclusion: The ambiance is very good (especially the tables outside, but we sat inside), the food and drinks (wine list) are decent, but the service has a lot of potential for improvement. The wines on the menu should always be available; Spumante isn't comparable to Franciacorta... Unfortunately, we felt neither seen nor appreciated. It was unfortunately the worst restaurant experience during our Italian vacation, and we felt that Italian guests were given preferential treatment. It left a bitter aftertaste in the unified Europe... On the other hand, the following evening in Ascoli Piceno, we had one of the best restaurant experiences of my life... So everything balances out.

Ho avuto il piacere di cenare alla Locanda Imperfetta durante un soggiorno ad Ascoli Piceno e ne sono rimasta davvero colpita.L’atmosfera è accogliente e curata nei dettagli, il personale cordiale e sempre attento. Ho iniziato con un antipasto di prosciutto delizioso accompagnato da carciofi croccanti, poi ho assaggiato la tartare di carne, fresca e condita alla perfezione, e una pappa al pomodoro ricca di sapori, con olive, burrata e un mix di gusti che si sposavano benissimo. La pasta era semplicemente squisita, ben condita e cotta al punto giusto, mentre l’agnello era tenero e gustoso, servito con patate croccanti davvero invitanti. È stata una cena di grande soddisfazione, in un posto dove si percepisce passione e attenzione per la cucina. Consiglio questa locanda a chiunque voglia gustare ottimi piatti e trascorrere una serata piacevole!

Ci siamo fermati alla Locanda Imperfetta dopo una lunga giornata calda e di sole. Il titolare e la cameriera ci hanno accolto subito con gentilezza e ci hanno fatto sentire a casa. L’attenzione per noi è la nostra piccola bambina è stata eccezionale. La è location molto bella, curata nei minimi dettagli. Cibo ottimo, tutti i piatti scelti ci hanno soddisfatto. Tutto accompagnato da un buon vino fresco che ha reso la serata ancora più piacevole. Consigliamo questo ristorante, e se dovessimo mai passare di nuovo da qui sicuramente ci ritorneremo.
