Locanda Fonte allo Spino In Castel san niccolò

Sono passato molte volte davanti a questo ristorante, oggi di ritorno da una bella giornata di sole e neve abbiamo deciso di fermarci, il locale internamente non corrisponde al l'impressione dell'esterno e cioè "rustico e rurale", mobili laccati e applique con il paralune, tutto molto ordinato e pulito ma poco effetto Locanda. La gestione della sala è scadente, un solo cameriere con tutti i coperti disponibili di domenica a pranzo è improponibile. Per riapparecchiare un tavolo abbiamo aspettato 20 minuti, il ragazzo però è stato molto gentile e cortese, ce l'ha veramente messa tutta, il menù è molto esiguo, antipasti, primi e secondi della tradizione locale con poco da segnalare, tutto già visto e mangiato mille volte. Ristorante che non ha qualcosa di importante da ricordare, ne come ambiente, ne come menù. Anche il prezzo è nella media. C.

Very nice experience, the place has a very homely vibe but with refined and classy touches, the owners are really approachable and kind and super attentive without being intrusive, but the real protagonist is the food, really good and with the right portions, we found it by chance because we are not from the area but we will certainly be happy to return.

There were 7 of us with two children, coming from Urbino for a tour of Tuscany. We found this inn on the internet and chose it, we liked the place, the photos, the reviews. Completely RIGHT choice! Everything was excellent, from the tripe offered to the appetizers, the first courses, the excellent meat (note the fillet, delicate and tasty) and finishing with the homemade desserts. One child even exclaimed, referring to the green ravioli, "they're so good I want to cry"... seriously! Then the environment and the friendly service, the waitress gave us good advice, the owners who stopped by to see how it was going, very nice. Definitely worth trying and, for us, coming back!

Let me start by saying that this is the third time I have come to this place and there will certainly be many more. We had a great time right away and the photos say it all! Rustic environment, but elegant at the same time, with great attention to detail and cleanliness. The staff is extremely courteous and available to satisfy every request, and here Mr Dante comes into play! He is the owner of the restaurant together with Mrs. Nora, who manages the kitchen, churning out delicacies with exceptional flavours, while Mrs Nora takes care of the customers and the bar area. Each of us took different courses, from the appetizers typical, first homemade, and then moving on to the meat... very tender! everyone, and I mean everyone, is worthy of praise. The desserts are no exception... all very good. Excellent quality/price ratio. The important thing is to book, otherwise there is no way to find a place.
