Locanda dell'Arcangelo In Rocca massima

We had the most wonderful stay. Francesca made everything effortless for us, and we were so grateful for her help. She even helped connect us with their preferred driving company to get us to Rocca Massima from Rome and Emilio was excellent. It was challenging to find meals in town, so we were grateful that Locanda dell' Arcangelo provided some of the best meals we had during our time in Italy. We got to visit Tipico which has olive oils, jams, and wine from the area and is run by the hotel. This hotel has a complimentary breakfast with limited hours and an excellent dinner menu. Lunch was not offered when we visited, but there are a few nearby restaurants and a small grocery which has deli options for sandwiches. We did not do "Flying in the Sky" which is the one main attraction but instead walked around Rocca Massima and took in the sights. Parco delle Rimembranze / Parco della Memoria was lovely to walk through. We stayed 3 nights for a wedding we attended in Cori. Otherwise would have never known about this special place!

We ate at this restaurant at sunset. My 7-year-old daughter's review: "You can drive to the restaurant, the food arrives quickly, and everything was delicious, especially my gnocchi." I'd add, "Good food with a breathtaking view." I highly recommend it.

Excellent cuisine. We went for lunch, not accommodation. Local ingredients, meat-based menu. The desserts prepared by the owner are also delicious. The wines also have their own well-defined and varied menu. Congratulations. Stunning view from the terrace.

A place where the view makes up for every little flaw!!! We stayed for just under a week. We had room 4, which unfortunately is small, although it lacks nothing and is very clean (the sea view rooms will definitely be larger). The owners are very, very kind (they even helped us resolve a small, major problem with the car). The breakfast was excellent; we had dinner twice, both of which were delicious, and the wine selection was excellent. The view and relaxation are top-notch!!! A destination for all cycling enthusiasts, given the beautiful climb and breathtaking views. I'm sorry I didn't bring my mountain bike, but I'll definitely be back next time!

I live in Artena and have been there twice with friends and family for dinner. The location is THE BEST for miles. The restaurant serves mostly local dishes, and the food is quite good. My only advice to the chef is this: there's some truly excellent lamb in the area, but his grilled lamb chops are disappointing. Instead of grilling them "au naturel," he breads them, which, in my opinion, completely ruins the dish. Maybe it's just because I'm a foreigner, but that's my honest advice.

We visited this small town 20 minutes from Velletri and found this restaurant with a splendid view of Latina. The food was good, although I personally wasn't a fan of the creamy sauce that accompanies and complements the fettuccine with porcini mushrooms. The service was good; the waiters were young but friendly and able to serve the many tables.

Dopo una giornata intensa di escursioni nei dintorni (Ninfa e Sermoneta), siamo rientrati in struttura giusto in tempo per il pranzo pasquale presso il ristorante della locanda (che avevamo prenotato per tempo in quanto alloggiavamo nella struttura da qualche giorno). Stanchi e affamati, ci siamo trovati di fronte a un'offerta gastronomica straordinaria: un ricco buffet festivo proposto tra l’altro ad un ottimo prezzo. Ogni boccone ha superato le nostre aspettative: prosciutto crudo tagliato a mano accompagnato da mozzarella fresca, seguiti da delicati fiori di borragine in pastella, crostini con varie guarnizioni e un tortino di patate dalla consistenza perfetta e altri antipasti che già potevamo andar via sazi :-) Per i primi piatti, le fettuccine fatte in casa con ragù tradizionale ricco e saporito, e un'altra in bianco con un condimento delicato che esaltava la pasta fresca. La lasagna verde con scamorza affumicata eccezionale, mentre le fettuccine al ragù di agnello ancora meglio. I secondi non erano da meno: polpette al sugo per nostro figlio, preparate secondo la ricetta di casa. L'arrosto di maiale con carciofi, invece, era tenero e saporito, con i carciofi che ne completavano perfettamente il gusto. Il tutto accompagnato da patate arrosto. Vale la pena sottolineare che questa formula di buffet così ricco è disponibile solo durante il periodo pasquale, mentre negli altri giorni il ristorante propone un menu alla carta altrettanto curato che abbiamo avuto il piacere di provare nelle serate precedenti. Per concludere in dolcezza, i dessert sono di altissimo livello. Un'esperienza gastronomica che consiglio vivamente a chi si trova in zona non solo durante le festività pasquali.
