Locanda dell'Arcangelo In Rocca massima

We spent the evening of the 31st in this beautiful structure immersed in the village of Rocca Massima. The dinner was greatly appreciated, generous and quality portions. Some dishes were "modified" due to my fish allergy. They outdid themselves despite the day of celebration and large turnout. Our little dog was super pampered and welcomed. The room where we stayed had a spectacular view. Super clean rooms. There Next morning despite the Breakfast was scheduled for 10:00 (too late for us due to a planned return trip) they welcomed us in the morning at 8:30 for a tasty breakfast. We will definitely return in the summer to enjoy the terrace. See you soon 🤗

Excellent lunch at this restaurant. Friendly and courteous staff, dishes with excellent and seasonal raw materials. Well done, appetizing. Sublime location if you decide to eat out. Fair price.

Bellissima posizione, con una vista ampia e ariosa sulla vallata, il ristorante vanta un'ottima cucina con spunti creativi e qualità dei prodotti, due sale interne, una terrazza coperta e una balconata a picco sulla vallata. Per un pranzo estivo è consigliata la terrazza, dove c'è ombra e ventilazione, ma non la balconata dove, benchè siano presenti degli ombrelloni, il sole batte a picco e sulla roccia e si soffre davvero tanto. Nel menu antipasti sfiziosi come l'orto fritto, cioè verdure di stagione in pastella, antipasto del pastore, con prosciutto crudo di Bassiano al coltello, formaggio di pecora e olive, primi come i tagliolini all'uovo con tartufo nero locale, fregnacce con ragu di salsiccia e marroni locali. Secondi di carne squisiti. Dessert fatti in casa, come la torta di mele calda con gelato alla vaniglia e salsa mou, il millefoglie con cioccolato o frutti di bosco. Unica osservazione, il millefoglie, che abbiamo preso in due occasioni diverse, ha le cialde troppo cotte quasi bruciate. Prezzi in linea con i piatti presentati e il servizio.

Stunning location, great food, excellent service, very friendly staff

In vacanza, ci hanno consigliato questo posto sperduto su una rocca. Molto scenografico, e con cibo eccellente: peccato fosse l'ultima sera della nostra vacanza altrimenti saremmo tornati volentieri.

We had dinner in this restaurant to enjoy the beautiful view but we also discovered refined and tasty cuisine, traditional dishes and new recipes with perfect flavours, kind service, at the right times and accommodating, prices not exaggerated and within the norm for dishes which could have been more expensive. When we returned home we realized from the receipt that they had mistakenly typed a course twice, we reported the error by telephone and they immediately refunded the amount by bank transfer, what can I say, correctness and professionalism are not found every day. Congratulations, we will return and recommend it.

Lovely restaurant with panoramic and ventilated terraces. Immersed in the historic center of the village. Excellent menu. Tasty and delicious dishes. Medium-high price. Highly recommended
