Locanda dell' Oleificio In Mezzane di sotto

Our 5 stars go to Teresa and her authenticity. He welcomed us and treated us very well, with attention and care towards our needs and those of our 3 children. We decided to stay here one night to break up the journey between Lake Como and South Tyrol. We were unable to use the restaurant because it is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays but we were pleasantly redirected to the Trattoria la Torre 200 meters away, still managed by the same owners of the inn. Simple breakfast but with fresh products and a wide choice of homemade cakes. The 9 rooms, as well as the restaurant and the 2 apartments, were created from an old oil mill from the 1700s. Our quadruple room, FAVAROL, is the perfect size for the spaces that a family of 5 requires. It has 2 double beds and plenty of space to turn around even with open luggage. What can I say, highly recommended!

Really friendly, a real family vibe. The rooms are clean and pleasant, the surrounding hills are picturesque. Therese is so warm and hospitable. I really loved this place. The restaurant was good, but there aren’t many vegetarian options.

I stayed just one night at the "Locanda dell'oleificio" with my family The owner welcomed us and was very kind, immediately offering us fresh water, given the heat!! I was struck by the very clean and well-kept room with embroidered towels and sheets. For breakfast, a choice of handmade cakes and desserts. Finally, the next morning the lady also gave us some sbrisolona to eat on the go (it was delicious!!) and the vegan cake prepared especially for my husband!! Definitely coming back 😍

Nel bel porticato in cui mangiare ci si immerge in una situazione estremamente rilassante e ricercata. Respirando l'atmosfera calma e il ritmo rurale delle vigne veronesi di metá '900 con il recupero di molti elementi d'arredo e non, compresa un'auto d'epoca a fianco alla quale abbiamo cenato. Pochi piatti proposti, tutti quelli provati dall'esecuzione eccezionale, porzioni generose e carta dei vini locale che invita all'esperienza. Ricarico nel nostro caso inesistente, anzi vantaggioso per il cliente, con un Valpolicella superiore bio dal costo calmierato. Piatti consigliati: i primi fatti in casa, tra cui le tagliatelle con ragù di gallina grisa, tra i secondi tagliata, braciola di vitello alla griglia, roast beef. Il tutto a prezzi onesti, e un servizio all'insegna dell'affabilitá più genuina, che rendono la Locanda dell'oleificio un punto di riferimento nella zona.

Just wonderful. A kind welcome from times gone by, a super dinner and incredibly original rooms, the right mix of history and modern comfort. An absolutely excellent service, serious and professional trained staff. I will definitely stay here again for business or a romantic weekend

In the numerous years that I have traveled and locations I have stayed, the “Locanda Dell’Oleificio has far surpassed them all. The beauty of the hotel (restructured farm house/ oil mill), but especially the HOSPITALITY. The Signora Theresa, greated us with fresh water and drinks and assisted us with a problem with our wheelchair and answered all our questions and exceeded all our needs. Her kindness is contagious as is her smile. If you are traveling to Verona, Mezzane di Sotto is only 30 minutes away from the center, located at the foothills of a mountain and surrounded by vineyards. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone especially if you have special needs as we did for wheelchairs. The food is excellent and genuine filled with local flavor and excellent service. They also serve and sell their extra vergin olive oil that is absolutely delicious.

We stayed for three nights in this beautiful inn. Clean and well-kept rooms, bathroom with large shower. But above all, the courtesy and friendliness of the staff immediately put us at ease, especially Mrs. Teresa who refreshed us as soon as we arrived with fresh beer, water and a platter of cold cuts. Highly recommended to all those who want to visit the Verona area

Locale super pulito ed accoglienza eccezionale.....personale disponibile ed efficiente , camere semplici confortevoli e funzionali, al ristorante cibo di qualità e della tradizione.. un plauso alla sig.ra Teresa ed al suo staff molto disponibile ed accomodante.
