Locanda del Morlacchi In Perugia

It is very difficult to make a reservation if you are a foreigner. But I love the food there and every time I'm in Perugia I go for dinner. From the appetisers I loved the pate, from the second courses the rabbit was delicious. The red house wine was good.

A delightful discovery in a corner of old Perugia, right behind the Morlacchi Theater. A place with meticulous attention to detail, a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere—not your average osteria, but a little gem. We ate for two; the staff was kind, courteous, and attentive. The menu was extensive, with generous portions and well-prepared dishes. The only flaw was perhaps too much oil in some dishes. All in all, a good restaurant where I think I'll return soon. Fairly priced.

Really nice place and excellent service. The first courses were excellent, but the second courses were disappointing, with the meat not being very tender. The price was average for the restaurant.

The atmosphere was lovely, the staff were friendly, the food was plentiful and truly good, and the dishes we tried were delicious. - Appetizer for two: both hot and cold, nicely portioned and without any poor-quality cured meats. - Zucchini flowers, larger than expected and absolutely up to par. - Umbricelli with white Chianina beef ragù, also very filling, both in flavor and portion size. - Caramels with guinea fowl and chestnuts, truly delicious. - Potatoes and onions in foil, perfect as an appetizer. - Lamb, perfectly cooked and generously sized. - Rabbit tastes like grandma used to make. - The price was also perfect. Furthermore, the restaurant charges a cover charge but includes welcome sparkling wine and bread that isn't just two dull slices of homemade bread. Overall, a truly excellent discovery.

Beautiful, refined restaurant. It also has a lovely terrace, but when I went, it was already fully booked. Excellent meat, cooked with flair and skill. Very friendly staff. Reservations recommended.
