We had dinner two nights ago, and what can I say? The food was excellent, with top-quality ingredients and dishes prepared with care but with respect for tradition.

We had dinner at this restaurant. All regional dishes were prepared to a high standard. The price/performance ratio was excellent. We'll be back.

Excellent quality local products

Excellent restaurant for carnivores in the center of Mattinata. We had an excellent burger with sides and well-cooked caciocavallo cheese. Fast and efficient service. Reasonable prices for the quality.

In a beautiful, private square just steps from the main street, this inn boasts authenticity and simplicity. All the products are of the highest quality, and the family-run atmosphere and friendliness of the entire staff are unparalleled. Always a pleasure to return.

Locanda del Maniscalco is a lovely spot in the heart of beautiful Mattinata. The town itself is perfect for a stroll or passiegata before dinner. We arrived just before opening and asked for a table at 7:30, and when they opened they were able to seat us outside under an umbrella, which was thoughtful since the weather was a bit spotty that day. Service was very good and the food was excellent. We enjoyed several dishes pasta, grilled vegetables, and especially the sausage, which was the real highlight, served with local tomatoes and a regional pepper (I wish I remembered the name). The grilled caciocavallo cheese was also delicious. They only serve red wine, but it’s the local variety, simple, tasty, and very affordable. In fact, the entire meal was very affordable for the quality. Overall, a great experience and one I’d definitely recommend if you’re in Mattinata.

The atmosphere is very informal, simple but very nice and clean. The service is excellent, the staff very friendly. The food was excellent, from appetizer to dessert, everything was delicious. Fantastic experience.

A wonderful experience in every sense. Courteous and well-timed service. The ambiance is simple yet very charming and characteristic, but the highlight is the raw ingredients and the excellent cuisine. A true riot of flavors. And what's amazing is that we chose simple dishes that nevertheless rewarded the palate with authentic, genuine, and delicious flavors. Even the simple tomato gave me an unfamiliar experience. What my palate associated with tomatoes or friggitelli peppers was vastly surpassed. CONGRATULATIONS! Definitely worth repeating. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

We went for a week in the morning, and then returned almost every evening for the next week!!! The food is delicious, fresh, and impeccably presented. High-quality meat and cheeses. I also loved the panzanella, a truly simple dish revisited in a fresh and delicious way. To top it off, the desserts were truly delicious, so much so that I ordered at least 2-3 of them each evening just for myself. The price is very fair; in fact, considering the quality of the ingredients, it's truly a gift. I will definitely be back for dinner as soon as I have the chance!
