We recently had the honor of dining at Locanda Del Colonnello, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by friendly and attentive service who made us feel right at home. We opted for the ten course menu, and each course was a true delight for the taste buds. The diversity of flavors and the perfection with which each dish was prepared testify to the high quality and creativity of the kitchen. Every course managed to surprise us again, with special combinations and refined presentation. The balance between the different dishes was sublime and ensured a smooth and harmonious structure to the evening. The chefs' passion was clearly evident in every dish that came to the table. In short, our experience at Locanda Del Colonnello was nothing short of great. It is an absolute must for anyone looking for a culinary experience that you will not soon forget.

Experience in all respects. The restaurant is designed with attention to detail, the courtyard where we ate is very pleasant and welcoming; the open counter is nice with the chef using the grill for some preparations. The service was impeccable, for the advice on the food but above all for the pairings with the wines, in fact the inn has a menu with truly remarkable selections which primarily enhance the Sicilian territory but will certainly not leave anyone who wants to try something else dissatisfied. The dishes ordered were a continuous and pleasant surprise, very high level and here too you can see the attention and study behind each preparation. We will definitely come back to try the winter version of the menu!

Fresh, innovative, laid back, casual, creative and bursting with flavor. One of my favorite meals in Sicily. It’s a young chefs take on Sicilian cuisine with a great natural wine selection. Exceptional service. Highly recommended.

A wonderful restaurant atop Modica. We shared a big table outside - at back. The food and wine were wonderful! The staff lovely and friendly and courteous! Would recommend.

Un bellissimo locale in un palazzo storico. Una sala con grande tavola in cui condividere l’esperienza. Un ottimo inizio di serata con l‘originale entree’ “leccami la Sicilia”, una crema di mandorle con barbabietole e mix di spezie che ricorda la trinacria. A seguire gustoso il baccalà mantecato, pane croccante, cedro e 'nduja così come l’ insalata di primavera ovvero puntarelle, carciofi, porri, fave verdi e ricotta salata. Servizio da mettere a punto nei dettagli. Sicuramente un locale e uno staff con grande potenziale.

Truly perfect, the welcome and the service very friendly, professional and delicate, the delicious and refined dishes, the wine list as we like them, go there with your eyes closed.
