Locanda del Boscaiolo In Monasterolo del castello

We had lunch at Locanda del Boscaiolo and we can only define it as an extraordinary experience! We ordered two appetizers, two first courses and a dessert, and each dish was a triumph of flavors and quality. The appetizers were rich and well presented, the first courses delicious and carefully prepared, while the dessert closed the meal in a sublime way. The location is enchanting, with a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere that makes the meal even more pleasant. The service was impeccable: the staff were kind, attentive and professional from start to finish. A restaurant that I recommend without reservation to those looking for a place to eat divinely, immersed in a special atmosphere. We can't wait to return!

We stopped for lunch at this inn, after a long walk on Lake Endine. In fact, it is very close to the lake which can be skirted thanks to a comfortable path. The fish starter, first courses and desserts that we ordered were excellent. I noticed the quality of the ingredients, the innovative research of the dishes and the plating. The wine selection is excellent. The service is precise and friendly. Good quality/price ratio. There is also private parking next to the restaurant. P.S. In fact the name of the Locanda is misleading, it is difficult to think of a lumberjack dedicated to innovative gastronomy. But once you try it, you appreciate it.

The Locanda is a magical place that I would absolutely recommend when it comes to food: truly excellent, quality dishes, prices in line with the quality raw materials and the wonderful location, being right overlooking the lake. The staff, young, kind and helpful. The only negative note that doesn't make me give 5 stars concerns the room. I stayed for two nights and the room itself is very nice albeit with slightly dated furnishings, but the biggest problem was found in the mattresses: broken and uncomfortable. The double one has protrusions that stick everywhere, the single one is completely broken down, so despite the magical place, rest is really precarious... at night you wake up several times because it's uncomfortable and in the morning you get up sore and this leaves a a little disappointed because on holiday you would also like to relax as best as possible. Investing in changing the mattresses and replacing at least the toilet seat which is all stained, although clean, would make the Inn perfect in every aspect! With mattresses in that condition I can't recommend spending more than one night on them. Breakfast in the morning, not abundant, but essential. I recommend half board because the dinner options are truly exquisite, unforgettable. The room has a fan, no air conditioning. Another thing not to be taken for granted, dogs are welcome! I wish I could go back to introduce this enchanting place to other people but I will make sure the mattresses have been replaced :) Overall great experience.

Posizione impagabile , se si ottiene il tavolo all’esterno vista lago . Abbiamo mangiato bene , la carta è interessante , personalmente troppi pochi secondi di pesce . I piatti erano curati dal punto di vista estetico , il baccalà mantecato era purtroppo scialbo, i ravioli di riso ottimi, ma 20€ assolutamente sproporzionato . Il salmerino di mio marito ottimo , le polpette di cervo pure, il dessert da perfezionare ( la scocca del cioccolato non abbastanza fondente era troppo spessa, per romperla abbiamo distrutto la combinazione e faticato non poco ..)Il servizio invece è stato non altezza, uno dei ragazzini troppo informale , rideva su tutto. Non abbiamo apprezzato anche il fatto che , dopo aver chiesto il conto 3 volte e aspettato 20 minuti , abbiamo dovuto raggiungere il proprietario alla cassa . Informandolo delle disattenzioni al tavolo e avendo pagato €140 in contanti , invece di una sonora risata da parte sua ( sei l oste !!) , magari mi sarei aspettata delle scuse e il gesto di offrire un dito di amaro o digestivo ,ecco. Tutto sommato è stata una bella serata , anche se tutto un po’ troppo pretenzioso .

Bellissima location direttamente sul lago . Menù vario sia pesce che carne,piatti curati e di ottimo livello,materia prima 🔝lavorata con sapienza…servizio impeccabile…siamo stati coccolati tutto perfetto…CONSIGLIATISSIMO
