I have never... I repeat: I have NEVER received better service or been made to feel so good in a restaurant... served by its owners who are TREMENDOUS hosts. They gave us to try some distillates that they make and each one better than the last. A recommendable place no matter how you look at it... atmosphere with history.

Una amica ci ha parlato molto bene di questo posto e ha organizzato un pranzo,la maggior parte delle recensioni ne parla bene,sia per il cibo che per l'accoglienza ma essendo opinioni soggettive,vanno comunque verificate. Che scrivere? Tutto molto bene,l'unica grossa pecca ma solo per colpa nostra,l'avere sottovalutato che 11 antipasti,tutti buonissimi e un primo,ci abbiano fatto rinunciare a provare i secondi perchè non è bastato allentare la cintura dei pantaloni.Beh il posto per il dolce si trova sempre a prescindere. Assolutamente da provare a fine pasto,i liquori della casa,in questo caso uno a base di cedro della Sicilia e uno a base di fieno,si ho scritto giusto,proprio liquore di fieno!! Ne aveva sia il profumo che il sapore,bellissima sorpresa. Ora ci tocca tornare una seconda volta per i secondi e avendo imparato,magari cercheremo di essere più morigerati con gli antipasti per poter arrivare ai secondi con ancora spazio nello stomaco. Christmas lunch. Too many tables, we couldn't move between one and the other, personally it annoys me to be so close to others. The setup is too tacky for my tastes. Neglected exterior, not a nice business card. Luckily, dessert aside, despite all being very classic, the dishes were very good.

We stayed at this inn for a friends' event. We had a peculiar experience as the food and setting were medieval, but it was very nice. The food overall was very good and quite plentiful, delicious chestnuts were prepared. The service was good, there was a little lack of preparation on the part of some waitress about the food served, but at the same time it was compensated by kindness, friendliness and helpfulness. As I underlined before, the typically medieval setting is very beautiful and with attention to the smallest details. A place I recommend to anyone who likes this genre!

Conoscevamo la location, ma non sapevamo di questa nuova gestione. Ci siamo andati incuriositi dalle recensioni e dal menu. N'è valsa la pena! La carne la fa da padrona, cucinata con cura, tutto molto buono. Bravi!
