Small find right next to the hotel where we were, the setting of the restaurant inside is a bit vintage, nice terrace at the front overlooking the view of the sea. The boss is super welcoming and very warm and loves to put his customers at ease. The staff is super friendly, always smiling. We have been several times and had a very good meal.

The place looks just like an inn, old-fashioned tables and chairs, checked tablecloths, chandeliers used for old demijohns, historical kitchen memorabilia hanging around. Even though it doesn't give a "woww" impression, perhaps because I'm used to consuming in places with more light and light walls, the cuisine is excellent, perhaps a little too intense for example in the mussels where, despite not requiring any spiciness, the dish is arrived spicy! Let's move on... the first "Chiatarrine allo scoglio (white)" is good but not very rich in fish while the grill unfortunately features freshly caught fish but with fish rich in bones; we would have expected something crispier as grilled (maybe we made the wrong choice). Apart from this, the top is really donated by the owner of the place, very polite and friendly but not very careful about some things. Perhaps the evening, because it was raining, did not require too many staff but there was only a waiter and a lady serving. The bill was a bit salty for €82: a plate of muscle mussels in spicy sauce, two plates of chitarrine, a grilled fish, 2 small plates of herbs on the side and a pizza with potatoes plus 2 of sparkling water and an orangeade . Good but not too good.

Het eten was prima. De patat was iets te knapperig. De vis was ook prima, niet heel erg smaakvol. Maar voor een lunch als je honger heb is het goed De service was top. De mensen waren erg aardig en we werden snel geholpen. De sfeer was ook prima. De plek zelf is leuk maar de mensen maken vooral ook de sfeer, dus het was goed. Het uitzicht op de zee is ook fijn.
