an excellent experience, quality food and very kind staff. While waiting for the appetizer they offered us a small appetizer and prosecco. The dishes are very particular and tasty, made with seasonal products. In this period I suggest gnocchi with chestnuts. We will definitely be back

Inn located in a historic place in the center of Teano. Chef Pietro, a very polite and respectful person for the customer. A journey of flavours, aromas and very good tastings with Jazz background music that accompanies you along the tasting journey. Advise

Raramente recensisco ristoranti, ma vale la pena menzionare il locale di Pietro Balletta, una autentica sorpresa per chi come me ci è capitata praticamente per caso, ritornando più volte ad onta della distanza da percorrere per deliziarsi con pranzi e cene a base di pietanze semplici o più complesse, sempre sorrette da ingredienti eccelsi, trattati con inventiva ma sempre senza forzature, nel rispetto della materia prima e della riconoscibilità dei sapori. Terra e mare si esprimono in piatti sapientemente preparati, amalgamati e impiattati, accompagnati da vini validi che rendono coerente e al contempo impreziosiscono la proposta. Generosità nelle porzioni, servizio informale ma efficiente, mise en place tradizionale e prezzi giusti rendono l’esperienza alla Locanda de Foris un autentico piacere. Consigliatissimo.

Never given 5 stars to a restaurant but this time I think I'm certain. One word; Exceptional. If you don't go there you can't verify it I returned on September 8th and the chef confirmed his mastery. Great chef........I'm already thinking about going back

I arrived on Tuesday, when the place should be closed, but it remained open for an event. This exceptional opening caused the lack of many dishes on the menu, including some that I would have liked to order. To apologize for this the owner gave me larger portions of the dishes they had, which although not what I originally wanted were still very good, he made me pay €30 instead of €35 and he also offered me a free glass of limoncello.

Locanda De Foris is a well-made, nice and welcoming restaurant in the historic center. We were welcomed at the table with an entrée and a local sparkling wine, both excellent. Pietro is an attentive and visionary host, his cuisine is refined, I think he prefers combinations with fruit and different textures, the raw materials are good, interesting the dishes and the wine list, kind and polite staff. The coffee mocha brought to the table at the end of the meal is priceless and excellently made, together with excellent desserts, with a mix of territory and innovation. Fair prices, no-frills place... highly recommended.

Well made and very welcoming inn, small but located in a beautiful historical context. the cuisine is excellent starting from the appetizers, refined and unusual, the first courses are excellent, but the meat is very, very good both in terms of product quality and cooking method. absolutely worth trying!
