Exceptional restaurant from the Cipriani chain. Amazing location on the island of Torcello. Excellent cuisine and cellar.

The restaurant has always been a place of great class.... both for the menu and for the unrepeatable scenario. Definitely one of my favorites. The restaurant grounds and the scenery of the island are truly exceptional. I would say.... Highly recommended!!!

Now I'll give you advance praise because I was there a few years ago. However, Locanda Cipriani is currently being completely renovated, so today I was standing in front of a construction site. If I had known this beforehand, I would certainly have planned my stay on Torcello differently. However, I very much hope that the renovation will be successful and that the restaurant will still be affordable afterwards.

07/12/2024: We stopped to get some sandwiches and found them delicious. Furthermore, the staff was very kind and helpful. Advised!!
02/12/2024: We all visit Venice for the history and tradition. This is a place, bar and Bacaro, that preserves the culture of the tramezzino. an institution. A guarantee, cheap, it serves a very large number of customers who on nice sunny days can consume the take-away food in a square along a nearby canal. From the station is a 15 minute walk. I would suggest getting your sandwiches/trammezzini before lunch time so as not to encounter the huge crowd of customers that crowd this Bacaro, to book if you want a seat, to be patient and kind with the owners who are very kind with the large amount of people they have to deal with.
