An authentic experience in the heart of Lecce
We dined at Locanda Arcu te Pratu and the experience exceeded our expectations. The setting beneath the historic arch is very evocative and creates a truly special atmosphere.
The cuisine is authentic, prepared with quality ingredients and well-balanced in flavor. The service is professional, friendly, and attentive, while the good selection of wines perfectly complements the experience.
A restaurant recommended for those seeking quality, tradition, and a characteristic setting in Lecce.
We will definitely return.

A beautiful inn; I went there for a friend's birthday. We were served a variety of traditional Salento appetizers, from broad beans with chicory to eggplant rolls, sautéed mushrooms, and finally roast meat. Everything was truly delicious. We even danced, although the venue isn't huge, there was still plenty of space. The outdoor lights, where we later opened the cake, were beautiful!

A very welcoming, family-friendly venue, meticulously curated down to the smallest details, in the historic center of Lecce. A place where you can breathe in the history of the place, upon entering you are immediately greeted by a highly respected wine cellar and by Francesco, who takes guests on a journey of flavors and aromas from another era, always remaining very contemporary. From here, it begins with Chef Aldo, who guides his guests through a range of traditional local dishes, dishes from other regions, and seafood, preserving the culture in both craftsmanship and raw materials. Highly recommended for all audiences.

We had a quick lunch here. I wanted to try the « fave e cicorie» as it’s supposed to be a traditional dish of the area. It was lovely and creamy. We enjoyed some nice cool beers and the staff were very friendly. Apparently they are new owners and I think they should be encouraged. It was slightly out of the main tourist centre on a quiet but attractive street. We ate outside so I’m not sure what the interior of the restaurant is like.

We are Mr. and Mrs. De Giorgi, and we are delighted to have spent an evening dining in a restaurant located in the historic center near a historic monument of Lecce, combining everything with the kindness of the staff and the delights of the first course, for which the owner professionally suggested the combination of mussels and clams. The rest was also excellent.

We stopped by chance for lunch.
We ordered a mixed salami and cheese platter for two.
A plate of orecchiette with turnip tops.
A mixed roast with baked potatoes.
Everything was sooo good and soooo filling.
