Locanda Antichi Sapori In Genova

Honestly, I expected more, especially for the meat. We ordered two different main courses, and both were dry and not very tender. As for the appetizers, the liver bruschetta was good, but the pesto and tomato bruschetta were less so. I've satisfied my curiosity to try it, but I don't think I'll be back. Friendly staff.

Chosen as the location for our Christmas dinner, I decided to try the pici all'aglione (absolutely delicious), the larded skewer (the MVP of the evening), and torta della nonna (grandmother's cake) to finish (equally enjoyable). Service was fairly quick. Prices were in line with other similarly priced options.

What can I say, the food and service are really TOP, I recommend trying them

A beautiful restaurant full of character, with friendly and attentive staff. My wife and I ate Tuscan cuisine, and my wife Ligurian. Everything was delicious and served in just the right quantities. If I were to return to Genoa, I would definitely return, especially since the menu is truly inviting.

I've been there several times since I "discovered" it in 2025. It's a good trattoria with an exceptional chef. I tried not only my own dishes, but also those of the relatives and friends I'd invited: all delicious, both meat and fish. My compliments! See you soon!

Definitely a beautiful place, with a refined, rustic atmosphere reminiscent of an inn. Beautiful solid wood tables, carefully set but without too many frills, as an inn should be, tastefully chosen furnishings, and walls filled with paintings and ornaments. The bathroom was well-maintained and clean. Our table was large, so I was able to enjoy several tastings of various courses. I had tagliatelle with wild boar sauce, which was good but lacked the "character" that a wild boar sauce should have, and was bland (as many other diners also felt). Then I had the Tuscan stew, which was good and very flavorful, but many of the pieces of meat had a lot of fat, probably my problem, as I love meat that's a bit "cleaned" of fat. I tasted it: good tagliata, good skewer, and also good fish and fried starters. The wine and desserts were good. Excellent place. A downside is the price of the dishes, which I think are a bit high, but if the quality is there, it's fair to charge. Thanks for your hospitality.
