In the middle of a piadineria and a trattoria-pizzeria, L’Oasi della Pagnotta still manages to stand out in a big way. Really pleasant service, fast and with a smile: a good 8:30 if we want to give a rating! I ordered their specialty, the Puccia with octopus — really good! I had asked for aubergines but I got courgettes with ketchup and mayonnaise. I expected a slightly more generous quantity, instead it was only two teaspoons… but it’s okay, you forgive it for the taste. It’s 2025, in Otranto, and places like this deserve a chance. Full five stars, even if a small tweak to the location would be nice: the bathroom is a bit compromised and underneath there is the visible basement/warehouse. Small things, but they make the difference. Anyway recommended, especially if you are looking for something different from the usual piadinas or pizzas!

Abbiamo provato la puccia con impasto alle verdure, su suo consiglio ho optato per hamburger, e verdure miste, tutto molto buono. Il titolare ci ha offerto anche un prosecco. Top.
