Excellent restaurant in the middle of old Cannobio. Only the Grignolino left something to be desired despite its beautiful appearance.

The restaurant is located a bit above the touristy restaurants, which are mostly located by the water. However, it's worth going a bit higher behind the church. In summer, you can sit in the lovely inner garden. It was already too cold for us to eat outside. A clear menu with regional specialties. The pasta with porcini mushrooms is SUPER DELICIOUS for early autumn. Don't miss the focaccia. It doesn't get any better! The chestnut cream is also highly recommended for dessert. A wonderful taste experience. Friendly and good service. An insider tip!

We had a very pleasant evening here. The food was delicious, the service attentive, and we would gladly return.

In my opinion, it's simply overpriced. The food was good, but the chicken was gray, tough, and dry. Given the prices, I expect significantly better quality (and more on the plates). The main course alone won't fill you up.

We ate at "L'Oasi del Borgo" three times within a week and weren't disappointed once. They offer a small but fine selection of typical Italian dishes (no pizza!) with a focus on regional recipes. The table service is top-notch – knowledgeable, multilingual, and polite – as is the "essence" of Italian cuisine: delicate food without a lot of bling. Definitely a great address for gourmets. The cozy courtyard is a haven of peace, even at 36°C, thanks to the gentle breeze blowing from the surrounding wooded hills. Go there and enjoy.

A superb ambiance with a wonderful courtyard and garden. The building has typically Italian decor and a vaulted ceiling. Friendly staff. Unfortunately, the food wasn't that impressive. The bread was very plain and very dry, so it didn't taste good at all. The starter with raw tuna and mango was a great idea and a great combination. The final topping, bread crumble, was unfortunately just as tasteless as the baguette. The tagliatte and ravioli were tasty, but nothing special. We had expected more at the beginning. A shame. The price/performance ratio, including the Cuperto, unfortunately wasn't right for us.
