Was staying at a relative's and found this place by accident (or serendipity) looking at the map. It was about 22:00 and I wanted to get something for breakfast the next day. Saw some reviews on TripAdvisor, a few a of them saying this place had been "an historical point of reference" for pastries that had gone bad after a period of having been closed and, I think, changing ownership or management. There weren't many reviews at all so I decided to try it out anyway. Everything looked amazing. I got a large glazed donut, a bignè filled to the brim with diplomatic cream and a corneto with some sort of berry jam. Everything was extremely good, fresh and very cheap also. The three things together cost less than 5€.

Very classic night and non-night bakery for purchasing croissants of all kinds and also some small pizzas and various savory items. Also good for cakes. Bad bad if you arrive in the evening/night there is always an absurd queue and only one at the counter so make the sign of the cross

Un locale famoso da tanti anni, ma ultimamente decisamente migliorato; ben pulito, con tanta varietà di cornetti e un ottimo rapporto qualità- prezzo. Il personale è gentile e disponibile, le paste fragranti e sempre fresche. L'orario consigliato per fermarsi è alle 7.00 di mattina, in quanto si evita la fila; dalle 23 di sera in poi, invece, se ne crea parecchia all'esterno. Aperto sempre. Consigliata la bomba al cioccolato bianco e anche il fiocco; in alternativa è possibile trovare anche delle paste più piccole, semplici o ripiene, così da poterne assaggiare più di una. Molto buone anche le pizzette rosse!

La Locanda da Pino

01/04/2024: On Sunday evening, for Easter, I went with my mother to the Locanda, where we go every now and then to enjoy the delicious fish dishes, always prepared with so much passion. We took two menus with 6 appetizers, two first courses, turbot with baked potatoes, salad, fruit (the one in the photo), coffee, wine and colomba, per person. Paid 50 euros each. The quality is excellent and we always find professionalism and availability. In the photo, I also publish another dish that I love very much, tagliolini with lobster. We highly recommend La Locanda da Pino, which is family-run. Among other things, it is also easily accessible because it is on the road, in front of the train and public transport station, and close to the historic centre.
