Lo Zafferano In Vitorchiano

Tasty dishes, carefully prepared. Excellent desserts. Highly recommended. It's a shame the place is small, which makes it a bit difficult to space tables.

We stumbled upon this very quaint place by chance, it took me back to the good old days. Delicious food, exceptional service, excellent price. What can I say? I'd go back. If I go to Rome, I'll go to Orte, drive 20 km, and I'll gladly go back.

The food was good, but the atmosphere was cold, emotionally speaking. You didn't feel welcome. Catering is also about customer service.

Unfortunately, we went to this place after reading the reviews, but alas, it's not at all what's described. First of all, the interior is creepy and smells musty, but the exterior is nice. The food isn't what's described, just the platter, which is good and plentiful. We waited a very long time between the appetizer and the main courses, even though we arrived very early and ordered roughly the same amount of food as the nearby tables, who had shorter waits. The owner justified himself by saying he was the only one doing everything, but that's unacceptable—you either open or you don't open if you don't have the means. Finally, we wanted to try the desserts that are always praised in the reviews, but we passed on the coffees and desserts so as not to have to wait any longer inside the restaurant.

A delicious dinner and a staff worthy of a wonderful evening. The restaurant's uniqueness lies in the sketch of the famous Moai located at the entrance in a well-organized flowerbed. That said, inside and on the menu, it was a succession of surprising surprises, and the cuisine honored the merits of years of international experience, while maintaining excellent local ingredients in the products offered at truly reasonable prices. 5 stars...all of them!

I'd already seen this restaurant based on the excellent reviews before even arriving in Vitorchiano. I called and made a reservation for lunch. It didn't disappoint. The price obviously varies based on what you order. I must say that my wife and I were very pleased with the location, the friendliness of the staff and owner, and the truly excellent food. The dishes were tasty and beautifully presented. I think the prices are fair for the quality and quantity. I definitely recommend this restaurant, a great base for trips to the beautiful village of Vitorchiano.

It was recommended to us for typical local dishes. Excellent, good value for money, and reasonably priced. We had a great time. I recommend it to anyone who doesn't want the usual restaurant.
