A genuine, homey place that stands out from the other ho-hum places in the touristy and gentrified Pigneto area. Simple but very good food, made with genuine ingredients, and reasonably priced by today's standards. A unique atmosphere (both inside and out). Reservations recommended. Maurizio has his own character, but you can't help but love him. If you want a "combed and tamed" experience or a thousand-course menu, head to the pedestrian area (yuck).

01/02/2026: YOU NEED TO BOOK IN ADVANCE because it's always busy. The quality exceeded expectations...everything was truly excellent, from the appetizers to the desserts. We had a great time and will definitely be back. Oh, and I forgot about the plating and table service, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
04/01/2026: Excellent service, I had the house appetizer and it was very well presented and rich, a first course which I was pleasantly surprised by the homemade pasta, and a second course which I must say was all excellent, I will definitely be back.
