Un posto lontano dalla confusione delle città, semplice, genuino e riposante, dove si mangia tanto e bene. Lo frequento da una quindicina di anni e ci torno sempre volentieri. Spesa modesta in relazione alle porzioni abbondanti. La signora Mimma sempre disponibile e cordiale.

A simple place, genuine food, an atmosphere from times gone by...a real panacea for those coming from the chaos of the city, and it's all delicious! The kindness of Mrs. Mimma is the backdrop. A more than positive experience, which I have been repeating for about 15 years now.

When you leave late and you remember that on Salaria there is a family-run restaurant where you haven't been back in a long time. And you will find that in the meantime they have created a comfortable and silent car park where you can sleep in a camper in complete tranquility. And that Mrs. Mimma was practically waiting for you, only you, in her house: the door is closed, but the keys are on it, you knock and she welcomes you with the stove on, sets the table for you, brings you the red of the mayor's house and water. And then he cooks fettuccine alla gricia for two just for you 😮 and then sits next to you, discreetly but with the desire to chat, even about the problems of these very small towns (here in Steccato in winter there are 10 souls). Overall, a beautiful evening. And come and eat here before it closes!
