Booked for 4.. very nice, clean place. We took 3 pizzas and a focaccia (2 tuna and onion, 1 frankfurter + chips)... nothing short of spectacular... we also had a second round with a spicy salami and a surprise.... exceptional... mortadella and pistachio. We also had dessert (3 tiramisu and 1 soufflé)... obviously on par with the pizza. The girls who served us were very kind and nice... I will definitely return

11/05/2025: Hotel in the center of Castelnuovo Garfagnana, a medieval village worth visiting, advises motorcyclists to exit the motorway from Aulla and take Aulla Castelnuovo with hairpin bends and spectacular curves for motorbikes
23/04/2025: We did not stay at the hotel. The food at Da Carlino was typical Garfagnana fare and very good. Service for us "un po" Italiano speaking patrons was gracious. One wait staff for the restaurant on a Wednesday evening was a bit rough. But we are none the worse. We are staying at another hotel in Castelnuovo currently, but if we wanted to explore the town on foot, the location is perfect.

01/06/2025: We stumbled across this restaurant while on our first night in Viareggio. The filet was so tender and buttery while at the same time so flavorful! The waitress was very nice and attentive and we could even stay a little bit longer while they were already closing up. Highly recommend!
14/05/2025: Cozy place very kind owner and high quality meat I highly recommend
