The whim, a word, a certainty....the best place to eat I believe in Basilicata and also in the surrounding areas....let's start with an appetizer where each course will delight you and will leave you convinced, very convinced...the first courses are excellent, truly top quality in meat...wide choice of meat....(I recommend donkey size) as regards the healthy and clean environment....but still functional...congratulations to the owners and staff..keep it up

ristorante rustico poco adatto ai gastrofighetti ma di sostanza e qualita'...vengo spesso ma questa volta si sono superati...il primo di pasta fatta in casa con ragu' di pezzente e rafano è stato superlativo...consigliatissimo

Kindness and friendliness are there, the food is good but, in some cases, the price is not justifiable in relation to quantity, especially with regards to the cold cuts platters (3 cuts of cold cuts, at €12 each, which, put together , would form 1 platter elsewhere) and cheeses (2 platters, at €8 each, comparable to a single portion elsewhere). Kitchen and pizzeria travel separately and therefore there are those who eat and those who watch... We were 10 people, not 30, and unfortunately, on our third visit, I have to express my disappointment in this regard. I hope Rocco and the team can improve these gaps 💪

Definitely surprising restaurant for the place in which it is located, right among the woods and Lucanian countryside, but I must say really very well done for the rustic but clean and welcoming setting, and the typical cuisine which is EXCELLENT in all the dishes tasted; friendly and professional service, special mention to the robot-cat-waiter, as well as to the excellent real waitresses... Congratulations!!!

Beautiful venue and delicious food. Place with typical and traditional characteristics perfectly adapted to the environment. Truly highly recommended except for two elements: -slightly slow service -parking almost non-existent and absolutely inconvenient. For the rest I ate very well, with a fantastic quality-price ratio. To try and enjoy.

Invisible from the outside, but when you enter you are captivated first of all by the The friendliness and friendliness of the staff, who literally encourage you to try everything, making your mouth water. And when you eat their dishes, you taste home, authenticity and freshness. Definitely coming back on our next trip to Basilicata!!

Relaxing and welcoming environment. Traditional Lucanian dishes made with excellent quality raw materials. Robust Aglianico red house wine. Nice and friendly staff as well as very professional. A special mention goes to the appetizer platter of mixed cured meats and the grilled wild boar. I highly recommend.

20/01/2025: I was with a friend for dinner and an emotion sparked in me. Congratulations to the owners and all the staff, for the delicacies tasted, from the fries to the pizza which is extraordinary. Fandango pizza and potatoes, walnuts and gorgonzola forever 😍
17/01/2025: La pizza? Semplicemente, sublime! Consiglio di lasciare allo chef Salvatore il piacere di consigliarvi. Vi sorprenderà! La leggerezza dell’impasto, gli ingredienti scelti con cura, la lievitazione lenta, il forno a legna sono i suoi “segreti” legati ad una tecnica rara e ad una indubbia passione per il proprio lavoro

26/12/2024: Semmai dovesse giungere a Moliterno, non potrete esimervi dal sostare per pranzo/cena da Moliendo . Abbiamo avuto il privilegio di conoscere illo tempore la famiglia che lo gestisce con cura ed amore e gli stessi sentimenti offrono ai propri ospiti. Il 25 dicembre abbiamo pranzato al Moliendo, ricevendo un’accoglienza semplicemente indimenticabile. Il menù consisteva in due portate di antipasti - già sufficienti a saziare il ns appetito - proseguendo con orecchiette al ragù di agnello, seguite da paccheri all’astice. Come seconde portate, maialino alla cordon bleu e quindi frittura di mare (classici anelli di calamari e gamberoni). Nulla di tutto ciò era sia pur solo minimamente al di sotto dell’eccellenza. Dovendo andar via per ragioni familiari, la padrona di casa ha voluto omaggiarci dei dolci prodotti personalmente che, a mio sommesso avviso, nulla hanno da invidiare alle migliori pasticcerie partenopee (a me ben note…). Insomma, tappa imprescindibile nel tour lucano, vera eccellenza gastronomica.
