Lo Sfizio In Pisa

The pizza was excellent, we had it with avocado and salmon; everything was fresh. They didn't skimp on the alcohol in the drinks; they were quite strong, which was an added bonus. I recommend it.

The food was good, the waiting times were long, the waiters were terrible and didn't even know the orders and would wander around the tables for up to 10 minutes to find the owner of the dish.

Beautiful and inviting restaurant where we enjoyed a good dinner consisting of Cesar salad and lasagna 🍽️

Great restaurant in the heart of Pisa, service was impeccable, lovely pizza and wine in a beautiful setting. Very reasonable too!

The food is delicious, but the Nigerian street vendors walking between the tables selling watches, glasses, etc. spoil the atmosphere. I have no idea why the restaurateurs don't do anything about them.

We had good pasta. Nothing to say about the service, but the atmosphere was very noisy.

After sitting down here and reading the menu, we quickly realised we had in fact sat down in a different restaurant to where we had intended! The waitress was keen for us to stay and accommodated our order accordingly. We both thoroughly enjoyed the meal, as the spaghetti was light and unlike the heavy, stodgy spaghetti we buy at home. For dessert, we had the panna cotta, which again was lovely. The bill does include a cover charge and when we paid, we expected change back, but it was kept - hence why the one mark off.

Lo Sfizio se ve muy impresionante desde el exterior sentado en el corazón de Borgo Stretto que atrae instantáneamente a los turistas. Ofrecieron un amplio menú con un montón de platos. Optamos por la pizza margherita, gnocchetti gamberi e zucchini, tagliatelle al ragu & fries. Poco después de sentarse una camarera trajo 2 bebidas que no habíamos pedido para nuestra fiesta de 3. Después de darse cuenta de su error poco tiempo después vino preguntando si los habíamos pedido y luego tomó nuestro pedido. Disfrutamos de la comida y el ambiente sentado fuera. La factura incluía ‘coperto’ que luego descubrí que es un cargo de cobertura de 8 €. 10 para 3 personas. Lo descubrí después de dejar una propina de 10€ para nuestro billete de 60€. Después de salir del restaurante y continuar por Borgo Stretto, una de las camareras vino corriendo por la carretera después de nosotros tratando de dar a entender que no habíamos pagado por las bebidas que habíamos pedido después de su error. Le presenté la factura y le expliqué que había comprobado esto dos veces con su colega cuando entré a pagar. Ojalá hubiéramos leído los comentarios de TripAdvisor antes de visitar, ya que hay un montón de otros restaurantes cercanos y el servicio deja mucho que desear.
