Found it by chance, the staff were welcoming and friendly. I ate both traditional and liver arrosticini, which were wonderful!!! Extremely tender, the best I've ever eaten. Exceptional value for money.

We came for lunch on August 15th. The food was very good and plentiful, the staff were very helpful and friendly, and the location was extremely welcoming, even for children, with a play area and animals just outside where they could have fun, even with other children their own age. And all for a more than fair price. Very happy we came!

We stopped for dinner after visiting Rocca Calascio and were extremely satisfied! We had a trio of delicious truffle bruschetta, followed by arrosticini (truly delicious and tender), served with baked potatoes and sautéed spinach on the side. Excellent value for money. Recommended!!

The restaurant is a bit secluded and simple, but well-maintained. The person who welcomed us was very kind. Good food and a great price! I was a little disappointed that the TV was on and very loud, inevitably drawing attention, but maybe that's what customers like, so it's fine. :)

Appena entrati siamo stati accolti da sorrisi, simpatia e calore (fuori era freddo) i piatti buonissimi , sia per noi grandi sia per il nostro bambino, ci sono animali e un parco giochi, tanto prato e una veranda grande, insomma non manca niente.

02/07/2025: Exceptional hotel, near the Abruzzo National Park. The restaurant at high levels. We find Gabriel as a great Chef, humble, easy-going, where you can chat with him calmly. Last night I was in that restaurant to celebrate the 40th birthday of my sweet half, dinner by the pool where they delighted us with every good thing. A splendid evening, I found excellent service, one waiter in particular showed professionalism, seriousness. The price paid for the party is completely modest. The owner welcomes you with a big smile and humility.. I recommend everyone at least once to go to this wonderful Hotel 🏨 Restaurant..
30/06/2025: What can I say...the Hotel Ristorante Filippone was truly a wonderful discovery!!! My partner, my daughter and I wanted to spend 3 days in absolute relaxation and we succeeded. Fantastic welcome at the reception with Anna Maria and the owner Franco and Jennifer who immediately made us feel as if we were at home. They satisfied us in everything...starting from the room with a spectacular view and always clean and fragrant then not to mention the restaurant...excellent service thanks to the waiter Aladino who always welcomed us with a smile and made us feel at home!!! I who have many intolerances and can't eat almost anything, I managed to enjoy excellent dishes all taken care of in the smallest details...they also made me find foods suitable for me and for the daughter every request of mine was satisfied and she ate everything with gusto!!! Breakfast both sweet and savory where you can enjoy a lot of sweets but also eat toast and many other delicacies ... The hotel also has a swimming pool this I must say fantastic ... clean water, clean environment, gazebos and umbrellas to have a bit of shade loungers chairs to sunbathe ... and shower to remove the chlorine all surrounded by a beautiful well-kept garden. It is also a location for events and we attended several events during our short stay ... We had a really good time and our little one was the mascot of the Hotel pampered by all the staff !!! We had a great time and we will definitely come back to visit you! I have traveled a lot but I have never felt as good as in this hotel in a small village of a few people at the foot of the Gran Sasso !!! Excellent location both for going to Pescasseroli beating heart of the Abruzzo National Park and for going to visit villages nearby rich in history. Thanks and compliments to all the staff! Agriturismo La Mandra-Zompo lo Schioppo

20/08/2025: My experience at La Mandra restaurant was undoubtedly positive. The location is stunning, surrounded by greenery and just steps from the entrance to the "Zompo Lo Schioppo" nature reserve, which I recommend visiting early in the morning and then having lunch at this excellent restaurant. The establishment also offers a B&B service. Lunch, which I had the pleasure of experiencing on two different occasions, with friends and family, began with a tasty appetizer of local cured meats, accompanied by olives and grilled vegetables prepared authentically in-house. The first courses consist of excellent homemade fresh pasta, such as fettuccine, gnocchi, or ravioli (filled with excellent ricotta) topped with sauces (ragù or tomato and basil) or other very tasty preparations (truffle or boscaiola). For the second courses, we opted for excellent and generous mixed roasts accompanied by equally delicious side dishes; we particularly enjoyed the broccoli and seasoned tomatoes. A wide selection of homemade desserts, including an excellent Neapolitan pastiera, and a special mention for the exquisite baked cheesecake, which is quite rare in Italy. A special mention also goes to the gentian liqueur, highly recommended after a meal with coffee. We were greeted by the family-run staff with great helpfulness and courtesy. On one of our visits, even our big dog, Charlie, was welcomed with open arms. The indoor and outdoor spaces and bathrooms are spotless, the prices are reasonable, and the quality is excellent. We'll be back and highly recommend it.
03/08/2025: We received a wonderful welcome, especially for dog lovers, from the host, followed by the wonderful hostess. A wonderful location, excellent food. We went as a family and will return. The place and bathrooms were very clean. The terrace was welcoming. Good quality and price. I recommend it.
