It was our first time there, but friends had always raved about it, and they were right. We had some excellent sausage and scamorza sandwiches, which were delicious. I recommend pairing them with a side dish to round it all off. They have both outdoor and indoor seating. If you're in the area, it's a must-try.

Weekends and holidays, excessive revelry: some like it and some don't (a "quota" would be needed even if no one is forcing anyone to stop!!!). I conclude with 2 clarifications: 1) they offer a service in time slots where there is little to satisfy the appetite 2) the toilets are a sewer: there should be at least one permanent person who keeps them clean and therefore "usable, who systematically checks the stock up on toilet paper and hand soap!

21/09/2025: After three weeks in Italy, enjoying fantastic Italian cuisine in many different restaurants, we stumbled upon Osteria Camporosso by chance on our way back from our trip... They were actually already full that evening, but they still made room for us... Of all the times, we enjoyed this evening the most... What a beautiful, atmospheric location! The honest and delicious products were fantastically prepared with such flavor and nuance... This chef deserves a big 10... The boys and girls serving were so incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional...where else do you find that? Afterward, I even received two delicious pieces of cake to have with coffee the next morning... Everyone at Camporosso, thank you for this unforgettable evening...

19/10/2025: Always a relaxing place, whether for 5 minutes or hours... a landscape immersed in nature and good air.
17/08/2025: We wanted to visit the Castello di Montegibbio, but discovered that it was closed at the time of our visit due to Ferragosto. This was a bit disappointing, as we were looking forward to seeing the interior and taking guided tours. 📍 Location & Surroundings ✅ The castle is idyllically situated on a hill, surrounded by green forests and vineyards, with beautiful views of the surrounding area. ✅ Easily accessible by car, although the last few kilometers are a narrow country road. ✅ Parking is available, but sometimes limited when visitors are busy. 🏰 Buildings & Architecture ✅ From the outside, the castle appears impressively well-preserved, with historic walls and towers. ⚠️ Unfortunately, we couldn't visit anything inside because the castle was closed. ✅ The view and the outdoor area of the castle are still perfect for taking photos and strolling. 👥 Service & Information ✅ The staff on site were friendly and were able to provide information about opening hours. ⚠️ No access to tours or interior areas at the time of our visit. 🍽 Dining & Offers ⚠️ Due to the closure, no dining options were available. Conclusion: The Castello di Montegibbio is impressive both scenically and architecturally. However, our visit unfortunately fell on Ferragosto, so we were unable to experience the interior areas. Therefore, only 4 stars, otherwise it would have been a full score.
