Lo Scogliolungo In Porto torres

I love the sea! I'm here for work and I spent this weekend on site. Today I focused my time on Sabaudia, so I looked for a seaside location for lunch and identified Lo Scoglio as the one that would suit me and I booked. Once on site, I asked to change my table so I could be totally outside with a direct view of the sea and they obliged me... Show... I first consumed a spritz accompanied by olives and peanuts, then sautéed mussels as an appetizer, then mixed grilled fish with a side of sautéed chicory. Everything fresh, well plated and really good. Courtesy and speed of the staff and sincere hospitality of the owner. And then... the sea that acts as the soundtrack and the breeze that cradles you are priceless! I recommend and will definitely return. Compliments!

I remembered another Rock (...other times).

Just heaven near the sea - we came at 3 pm when all other restaurants refused to provide food at this time, but in this place we were welcomed, food was incredible as well as the service, I recommend pasta scoglio and having a cup of espresso in terrace right in the sea

A beautiful place, a beautiful sea........ But too expensive.....

Stunning location, fresh fish, impeccable service

Dopo alcuni anni siamo tornati a Porto Torres e i nostri parenti sardi ci hanno portato a pranzo allo Scogliolungo, un delizioso ristorante sul Lungomare Balai. Tavolo in terrazza, a due metri da un mare di incredibile trasparenza. Giuseppino, il gestore, ci ha coccolati con una serie infinita di antipasti di pesce della tradizione sarda, rivisitati in chiave moderna e ben presentati. Il risultato è stato spettacolare alla vista e indimenticabile al palato. Un'esperienza da ripetere presto.

We have been coming here in the summer for many years now, I like the location, the convenience of reaching the beach, the hassle for parking 0 which is also guarded, perhaps the only one with the possibility of a large space for cars on the Sabaudia seafront. The cuisine is a little expensive but it is also the price to pay for having many discounts (see above), the staff are all kind and attentive, the fish first courses as well as the second courses are very good, if you love desserts I recommend you take the ricotta and pear cake... another world!

I don't often comment, but the atmosphere is really perfect. I ate here last summer. This year I chose to dine in the evening. I came here to enjoy the sea view at noon and have dinner at the same time. A perfect day.

Cenato con la famiglia in una serata abbastanza complessa per via del carnevale estivo quindi con il locale molto pieno e sono rimasto molto colpito dalla velocità nelle portate nel sapore mai banale degli antipasti molto particolari e ben curati nelle varie portate, eccezionali e abbondanti anche i primi! Conto nella media, personale molto gentile e disponibile…insomma gran bella scoperta! Ci ritorneremo.
