Lo Riondet In La thuile

We were at Lo Riondet for an evening in a cabin with a snowcat, an experience to repeat and to recommend. All the staff are extremely kind. After a journey of about 20 minutes with the snowcat we arrived at the chalet where they welcomed us with croutons and a hot drink, immediately after we sat inside, a truly beautiful location in mountain style and cared for in the smallest details. On the occasion of the evenings in the cabin choose between the different menus offered during the booking phase, we chose game, excellent quality and abundant, excellent choice on the wine list. Fast and attentive service. At the end of the evening we decided not to take the snowcat but to walk down on foot with a walk through the snowy woods of about 30 minutes. We hope to return soon. Four-legged friends are welcome.

Really very nice place, well furnished and very welcoming, the only flaw was that I found the price too high for the quality of the food. I would review the costs or increase the quality of the food. (I spent €90 for two for a dish).

I would say spectacular in everything, from the reception in the refuge with many young, smiling kids, to the quality of the spectacular food, all delicious and served with professionalism, a 10 for the boy from Puglia from Canosa will lead the way, he has all the requirements to be in contact with the customer. The only thing is that... there's too much stuff to eat 😂... but I can give you a solution... going back on foot instead of with the cats was fantastic... in short, if you want a dinner with a capital C, here it is found..

Returning to Lo Riondet is always a unique experience, starting from the journey with the snowcat to reach the restaurant, passing through the food, cooked in an excellent manner by the staff coordinated by Mrs. Paola, up to the truly enchanting location... by tasting the tourist menu you can fully enjoy the true flavor of the Aosta Valley. A truly special evening.

characteristic environment, good quality service and food, well-stocked cellar but exaggerated prices...a trio of pasta at €34 per person seems excessive to me.

Little to add. Strange place. Worth a note is the chiringuito in the snow which (when it's sunny) offers gourmet sandwiches and is an excellent "to-go" ministerine

La location è bellissima, complice il panorama montano e la strada che porta da La Thuile al Passo del Piccolo San Bernardo. Grande parcheggio gratuito. Bellissimo prato antistante con piccolo bar, sdraio, sedie, tavoli e giochi. Il ristorante è tipico, parecchio spazioso perché distribuito in più sale su più livelli. Si mangia bene! Vi sono vari menu con diversi prezzi, per tutti i palati e tutte le tasche. Ottima scelta di vini. Personale cordiale, attento e preparato.

Degna conclusione del nostro soggiorno a la Thuille! Pranzo veramente eccezionale a “Lo Riondet”. Locale storico che sa di tradizione, piatti regionali e calore. Ambiente familiare e molto curato. L’interno del locale è curato ed avvolgente come un gioiello. La tavola non ha tradito le aspettative. Polenta valdostana con tris di verdure e menù sprint veramente sublimi. Abbiamo chiuso in bellezza con gelato artigianale, panna top 🔝 e gelato artigianale, strudel super buono e tradizionale. Cortesia e gentilezza nel servizio e conto più che giusto sia per la qualità di quanto proposto che per la quantità. Torneremo assolutamente per assaggiare un altro piatto gettonatissimo: costine di maiale con salsa a base di senape, miele e albicocca. Per concludere fuori c’è un bellissimo solarium dove sole e aperitivo e dolcetti possono far trascorrere qualche piacevole momento. Ottima idea! Posizione strategica salendo o scendendo al colle del piccolo San Bernardo. Si fermano molti motociclisti e ciclisti anche solo per una birra e un buon panino. BRAVISSIMI!
