OK, more than a chalet it's a kiosk. You go to get a first course or a sandwich, then you go to eat it at the tables under the trees that make up the splendid Vallombrosa forest. Bread, cheese & ham are really great. And also the cantucci taken as dessert. A little red and the stop is really good. Never mind if there's a bit of mess between the tables and it seems like they aren't cleaned very often... in the end it's the result that counts: and you go to Vallombrosa to enjoy the fresh food too ;-)

20/07/2024: Quality, professionalism and courtesy. Excellence of Tuscan hospitality. A pleasant environment for a coffee break and more. Splendid outdoor space on Piazza Unità d'Italia a few steps from Santa Maria Novella, the gateway to the historic center towards San Lorenzo and the Medici Chapels, the Cathedral in Santa Maria del Fiore and Giotto's Bell Tower. A pleasant place that takes Florence back to the era of the great cafés. Congratulations to Aldo Cursano and his staff.
01/06/2024: Delicious food! My wife and I had the impression that we were not in a restaurant but at a friend's house, and his mother prepared us wonderful homemade pasta and sandwiches with salami toscana☺️ these were wonderful flavors! The beer and drinks were perfect on this warm day. The waiter had full control over the garden, he knew how to joke 😄 the prices are the same as in all Florence, you can't complain.

12/08/2024: Super tasty! Sure a little more expensive, but come on, we are in the middle of Florence. And I also treated myself to the truffle pizza for €18. Can't say anything - it was simply delicious! And the service was also quick, friendly and attentive.
11/08/2024: I loved! I had the best carbonara ever here! I paid 105 euros for 4 dishes, 2 starters and drinks. Right in the center of Florence.
