We stumbled upon it by chance, after visiting the Villa dei Vescovi. Exquisite dishes (in our case, bigoli and pappardelle) and very kind and friendly staff. Thank you.

What can I say... I'd definitely go back to try other dishes! Trattoria-style cuisine, friendly service, and good prices!

Good food, very informal place, owner is a character

I've dined at this trattoria often. Excellent food and excellent value. Homemade pasta, excellent meat, and delicious vegetables! The desserts are truly special (thanks to Alberto!). The atmosphere is homey, and the staff is welcoming. In warm weather, you can also enjoy the outdoor seating. And the icing on the cake... a wonderful view of Villa dei Vescovi.

An environment where you feel right at home, with excellent freshly prepared food, a warm welcome, and the atmosphere of a traditional trattoria. Highly recommended.

Stopped by for a business lunch. Very good home-made food. A good menu selection.

Ferragosto lunch with friends; they reserved a table for us outside, under a wisteria tree. The appetizers, first courses, and grilled meat were exceptional; pasta was strictly homemade; and desserts were excellent. Very generous portions. We took the rest of the grilled meat home. I was surprised by the bill; I expected to pay more. One flaw: if you don't like dogs, let them know in advance. This avoids unpleasant scenes, especially ones that are disproportionate to what happened. Turning customers away like that is simply not an option, even if "this is my house." Again, if dogs aren't welcome, let them know in advance; we'll plan accordingly. I gave 1 star to the service for the reason mentioned above. 10 stars to the kitchen staff.
