Special! Simply exceptional! The excellent quality food is homemade, a truly welcoming and professional service at the outdoor tables for the summer. The wine is excellent. I tasted a good starter, a delicious trio of tortelli, fried lamb chops and a tiramisu. A truly relaxing day, where I felt welcomed and the owner's advice on the menu was top notch! I would go back immediately!

Per noi tappa fissa da tantissimi anni. Ogni volta che siamo in Emilia (circa una volta al mese) siamo a mangiare in questo ristorante genuino! Ottime materie prime, semplicità, estrema gentilezza e sempre pronti a rendere ogni esperienza unica. L’attenzione a tutti i piccoli dettagli è incredibile. Per noi è come essere a casa, amiamo passare pranzi e cene in compagnia delle persone a noi care in questo posto del cuore! Se siete in zona non potete esimervi dal provarlo!

Live Restaurant and its Flavors – A corner of authenticity among the valleys of the Reggio Emilia Apennines
We chose this restaurant to celebrate my 64th birthday in the company of my wife, our son with his partner and our beloved granddaughter Isabella.
The restaurant is family-run, with a welcoming and genuine atmosphere. The owner is very approachable and helpful, while the service is handled by young people, probably his children, and by the owner's sister, who takes care of the kitchen.
Upon arrival we had a small inconvenience: our Chihuahua, used to being in the carrier and absolutely calm, was not accepted into the room, so we had to leave him in the car.
Apart from this detail, the dining experience was excellent.
We were greeted with an appetizer offered on the house: fried gnocco, cured meats and a piece of fried polenta with cheese.
Next, we ordered:
First courses:
2 portions of tagliatelle with wild boar, 1 with mushrooms, 1 plate of cappelletti in broth and 1 of mixed tortelli.
Second courses:
1 portion of roast rabbit, 1 slice of fried lamb, 2 slices of stewed venison and 1 slice of stewed pork cheek, accompanied by baked potatoes and homemade sauces.
Desserts: my niece and I chose respectively a portion of Nutellina cake and a chocolate cake, while the others opted for an assortment of homemade desserts.
We accompanied everything with ½ liter of Lambrusco, a bottle of sparkling white wine from Sperlonga and three bottles of water.
The portions were generous, all homemade with genuine ingredients.
The price? Honest and more than adequate: €35.00 per person for a rich and satisfying lunch.
We will definitely return, perhaps in the company of friends!

Having seen it on the internet I thought this is where I want to go, a very good choice. Excellent food of super quality (of the tradition of the Emilian mountains, the innkeeper (I am the owner) is exactly what I wanted to find, friendly, knowledgeable and truly Emilian. If it were a little closer I would go back every now and then. I WILL DEFINITELY REMEMBER

Abbiamo pranzato domenica in compagnia di amici in questo posto fantastico. Accoglienza perfetta, cibo super e abbondante, il personale gentilissimo e per finire qualità prezzo giustissimo. Quando tornerò a Reggio Emilia una cena o un pranzo lo farò sicuramente da loro. Siete bravissimi. Lo consiglio.
