We were greeted in a charming and delightful manner by Joseph the owner. We placed ourselves entirely in his hands so that we might experience the best the restaurant offered. We were rewarded with a wonderful evening of food and hospitality. Each dish in succession was a delicious experience leaving us happily expectant of our next course. This family owned and operated restaurant truly checked every box for us.

The owner was friendly and the atmosphere was great. The Sardinian seafood dishes and wine were delicious and top notch. I'd love to come back next time I'm in Rome!! Personally, the mussels pasta was especially tasty! Grazie! Era Buonissimo!!

A little island of happiness in the Tuscolano neighborhood. Excellent food, magnificent service, but what's truly extraordinary is the atmosphere! Highly recommended.

I had a truly delicious Vongole Ango with dried mullet roe, fried squid, a cute little dessert, and traditional Sardinian crispy bread. The owner who took my order was very polite and gentlemanly, and the restaurant was small, clean, and tastefully decorated, which was very comforting. I was warmly welcomed even when I came alone. It was fantastic. I'm Japanese, and I think this is the best Italian food a Japanese person could imagine. This Sardinian restaurant offers delicious seafood and pasta. The menu is explained verbally, but the owner is fluent in English. I showed him a photo on Google Maps and explained what I wanted, and he understood. ✴︎It was so delicious that I went back the next day with my 2-year-old son and husband. I tried the Vongole Ango without dried mullet roe, and it was a gentle, comforting flavor. If you're looking for something easier on the stomach, I recommend the option without dried mullet roe. They even made French fries for my son, who wanted them, and gave us a delicious cinnamon cookie at the end. They also have high chairs, making this a truly child-friendly restaurant.

07/01/2026: We attended a pre-Christmas dinner with important friends, but despite a reservation, we had little luck as we were given a table right next to the serving cabinet for cutlery and tablecloths. Unfortunately, it was a busy evening and the restaurant was packed. One of the two people sitting near the serving cabinet endured blows to the chair or back throughout the dinner from the waiters, particularly a Latino woman, who consistently prioritized speed with little regard for the lady guest. When I pointed out this unpleasant experience, they spontaneously offered a discount and apologized for the incident, although given the restaurant's excellent quality, I would have appreciated it more if they had told me there was no more room when I booked, rather than making us feel uncomfortable.
21/12/2025: Classical Roman family restaurant with professional -slightly intrusive- service. Spacious and loud, offering exquisite seafood and Sardinian-inspired dishes. Reservations recommended, not obligatory.

22/03/2025: Locale curato ed essenziale dove fa immediatamente da capolino la professionalità e la gentilezza di tutto il personale. La qualità delle pietanze conferma la prima impressione, dove una cucina "trasparente" esalta con semplicità una frittura di rara leggerezza, una squisita grigliata e gli antipasti di estrema freschezza. Serata che lascia un'intensa sensazione di armonia ed il desiderio di ripetere.
15/03/2025: Ero già andato con degli amici a cena nel loro altro locale a Via Isonzo e devo dire che siamo stati benissimo....questa volta con altri amici siamo venuti a pranzo in questo locale presente a Monteverde da molti anni. È stata davvero una bellissima esperienza. Abbiamo iniziato con una bellissima e soprattutto buonissima degustazione di antipasti di pesce sia crudi che cotti.. A seguire un piatto di fregola alla pescatora davvero spettacolare. Il tutto accompagnato da un ottimo vermentino. Caffè e mirto e dolcetti per terminare in dolcezza. Tutto davvero spettacolare. Torneremo sicuramente per degustare altre specialità.
