L'Isola della Pizza In Roma

It was so delicious! I ate here twice in a row. I'll miss the pasta here when I leave Italy.

I can't agree with the negative reviews. The pizza is very tasty, the pasta is spot on, and the meats are also well-prepared. The service is friendly. They ask for bread, so it's only brought to the customer's request.

Suggested by our lovely tour guide after ended our tour at St Peter Basilica. Glad that we took up the suggestion and the foods didn’t disappointed us, it was good with very reasonable price.

We stumbled on this place after we tried two others without reservations and was told no. Mo reservations needed. They got us in with a smile and a friendly face. The service was fantastico! The food even better. Homey feel to the flavors. Took me back home. We are so happy we came accross this gem. Eat here you will love it.

Not great, a bit of a tourist trap. Pizzas are slightly undercooked, and not generous at all on toppings. I ordered a capriciosia and literally had 1 piece of artichoke, 3 olives, a tiny pice of fresh mushrooms and half an hard boiled egg. Waiters not very nice and clearly in a tourist business mood. Avoid, there is so much better around.

I chose this place to celebrate my graduation with my relatives. I immediately felt their warmth because, having discovered it was a graduation party, they left three red sugared almonds at each place setting… a gesture I personally greatly appreciated and that warmed my heart! A very professional and engaging waiter attended us. Having given him carte blanche, he offered us a selection of appetizers: prosciutto crudo, buffalo mozzarella, artichoke salad, artichokes alla giudia (delicious), celery and cheese salad, peppers, fried porcini mushrooms… After this lovely selection of appetizers, he offered us three pasta dishes to share: carbonara, amatriciana, and cacio e pepe. They were served in three very large pots (each pot must have weighed almost 1 kg). And then a magnificent selection of desserts, also very delicious. There were 8 of us (appetizers, the three pots of pasta, wine, water, and dessert) and we spent €400: so €50 each. Considering that, if I ever return to Rome, and also considering that I left the restaurant not hungry, it was money well spent (all 8 of us think so). Truly, truly EXCELLENT! Thank you!🫶🏻

Very good food, but they made one of our dishes wrong twice. Otherwise, it's a nice shop and has various sweets.

An unexpected place in the heart of the Prati neighborhood. Excellent food and excellent value. I'll be happy to return.
