The bar for cocktails, as for beers, is not brilliant, but they do bring you crisps, peanuts, taralli and olives.

I've been there a couple of times for after-dinner drinks. The first time, we had two draft beers followed by two gin and tonics. The beers were well-tasted, with a head of foam, which is undoubtedly essential. It's much appreciated that the gin and tonics were served in a balloon rather than the outdated tall glass that almost forces you to use a straw. The only thing missing, and not vital, was a couple more ice cubes to keep them together (it was summer, and we drank them faster than usual to avoid overdilution). The second time, however, the bartender made me a truly impeccable martini, followed by an incredibly balanced Manhattan with the punch of a hand grenade! There are still many great classics to choose from, which we'll definitely be back to try. 🍸
