25/01/2025: Very positive experience, a small (so I recommend booking) but welcoming environment. Lots of bottles of wine and an excellent counter with a great variety of cured meats and cheeses. We started with a mixed platter for 2, with cured meats and cheeses, really excellent, then we continued with a savory Maritozzo with pulled beef and a Naan bread with coppa and pecorino. Our friends opted for a platter (of the Shepherd) of mixed French cheeses. All accompanied by a bottle of Jasmin (Sicilian wine made from Zibibbo grapes). Friendly, polite staff and fast service. Highly recommended.

11/12/2024: Difficile trovarsi a passare per caso da codesta via cherso, nelle sconfinate periferie di Roma est lungo evocative vie romane che conducevano ad altrettanto antiche città, come Collazia o Preneste… Sarà per questo che il locale ha un nome latineggiante, perché altro della Roma dei cesari qui non ce n’è. Il locale però è bellino, accogliente, intimo. Il signore che immagino sia il proprietario fa sentire l’ospite a casa, consiglia buoni vini anche a me che non bevo, porta ai piccoli tavoli dei piatti semplici ma curati e gustosi. Veramente commuoventi i prezzi, almeno quanto il bel salame di corallina lungo qualche metro che fa bella mostra di sé sul bancone. Bravi, grazie.
