We arrive at the hotel and have the first surprise, the receptionist takes us to the rooms (I don't think they can be defined as such, they are rooms without windows with a glass entrance, it feels like sleeping in something halfway between a shop and a garage). My husband suffers from claustrophobia and points it out, the young lady says that it was described: room with French windows, the French windows, my husband points out, do not overlook the street, we ask to change the attitude of the young lady in the hall, very annoyed, she says that there are no rooms, she proposes a change for two nights but on the third night she claims that we should return to the 'annexe', the cost is €20, she stares at the computer and waits for us to decide whether to go or stay (the rate, she points out, was advantageous because it could not be cancelled). We agree to stay in the new accommodation proposed, the room in which we stay for two nights is certainly better but has a blind bathroom and a window that opens onto a jasmine hedge, very badly soundproofed. The third night I ask another receptionist if she can let us sleep in another room explaining that we don't want to go to the famous annex, she very kindly finds us a room in the central block third floor.
This is a room worthy of a four star hotel, the view is lateral but it has a small balcony.
Problem solved.
Budget?
Good breakfast, nice hotel even if the sea view is ruined by a dilapidated structure that is a former cement factory.
I recommend being more precise in describing the rooms and one last thing the day before we received an email with an offer of a wellness program for €25 in the hotel we are asked for €28 a little more clarity would avoid arguments with customers.

Excellent location, hotel, staff, and service! We booked a more expensive room for a veranda with a view of the Adriatic. Easy access to board walk, town and restaurants.

I recommend the rooms with a balcony overlooking the sea.
The small maintenance problems do not take anything away from the magic of the location..

What a gem of a hotel and location. We loved it enough that we tried to switch some of our other reservations to get back to it during our journey, but we’re not able to do so. The location was excellent right there on the beach and we loved the balcony and the separate living area and the bedroom. We would definitely stay again. The sound of the waves crashing on the beach was an added bonus.

The structure is modern and welcoming. Directly overlooking the sea... it's a spectacle.. The staff is nice, kind and smiling. The room available is properly equipped with everything. The breakfast is equipped with every good thing. It's a shame not to have been able to taste everything. The cakes, made in an artisanal kitchen, are excellent, but we are on a diet... We then followed a SPA program as a couple, relaxing in complete harmony, dedicated just to us. We didn't have time for the massages, but we will definitely come back to visit you, reading the carefully prepared encyclopedic brochure of services. We thank you for giving us so much, at an objectively centered cost. Thanks again, and see you soon Enrico and Anna

We returned to this hotel after staying there last year, both times as an intermediate stop on our way to our destination. The room, a deluxe, this year was very small, but still clean. The staff were very kind and helpful; the only flaw is the tax (because it's nothing else) of €10.00 PER DAY for each dog hosted.
Let's be clear, I agree with charging a supplement to those who own a dog, because if the latter loses hair or has a strong odor it is clear that cleaning will have to be more careful. But the cost must be final, not daily, and, above all, what is the point of applying it to each dog? It is just taxation for no reason and that is, frankly, unpleasant. In other places they charge, but they at least have the good taste to hide the tax by offering something in exchange; what do I know, a bowl, a towel, a bag of biscuits... At the life hotel none of this: €10.00 per dog per day FOR NOTHING. Needless to say, I'm unlikely to take it into consideration again.
