Beautiful beach, not too many people, quite a few pebbles when you get into the sea... we take deckchairs and a parasol, they insist on sticking us with other couples (smokers) even though there really aren't many people!! Just look at the photos!! The food is good and the prices too for a beach restaurant... to do again

Beautiful beach. We had lunch at the restaurant, excellent food, and a stunning view. Good value for money. A very positive experience. If you're in the area, it's worth spending the day at Lido San Basilio.

Beautiful and relaxing place. The staff were welcoming, very kind, and above all, very polite. The restaurant has a sea view and exceptional dishes, excellent quality and price, all fresh fish... I had a wonderful time, I highly recommend it... I will gladly return.

A beautiful day at this beach, found via Google Maps after reading reviews. I highly recommend it, both for the beach and especially for the restaurant. Prices are average considering we're in Salento and it's August, which is still high season (single-row umbrella €40). If you're looking for relaxation, a wonderful beach, and not too crowded, I highly recommend it. Very friendly staff.

Semplicemente fantastico! Il lido è curato nei minimi dettagli. Il personale è sempre gentile e disponibile, pronto a soddisfare ogni esigenza. vero punto forte? Il ristorante! Piatti freschi, ben presentati e con ingredienti di qualità.

05/12/2025: Nothing better than walking into a restaurant small/provide a bakery beyond !! Wow also amounts of food that are plenty to eat and filling in great taste wonderful coffee. I can’t say how much I love this place. !! It does not get five stars. It gets 10+ Staff is above and beyond greeting me when I walk in the door where I was from 100% kindness and a good staff waiting on you the whole time this is in my top three in Old Town Lecce after coming for the last three years, I’m sad. I didn’t find this two years ago.❤️
29/11/2025: Bar della Cotognata Leccese is undoubtedly one of the best cafes and pastry shops in Lecce. The food here is truly delicious: every dessert is incredibly fresh, made with quality ingredients, and you can taste the Salento pastry tradition. From the pastries to the quince jam, everything is carefully crafted, and the flavor is always exceptional. The atmosphere is welcoming, well-maintained, and pleasant, perfect for both a leisurely breakfast and a sweet treat during the day. A place that immediately wins you over and you'll always want to return. Highly recommended!
