Lido Monte Saraceno In Mattinata

We found a free umbrella by calling that same morning during the August bank holiday weekend. The strong point is the very kind and helpful staff, especially the ladies at the cash register and at the counter (and this really makes the difference in the area!). As an appetizer we tasted a bread and tomato of extreme goodness despite the simplicity of the dish: excellent quality ingredients especially the bread and olive oil. It will become our usual beach every time we go to the Gargano. We will return as soon as possible to taste the fried fish. The beach is very large and has many umbrellas.

A nice beach front restaurant, nice atmosphere. Excellent service, good first course (orecchiette, shrimp and provola) and excellent grilled sea bass. A little disappointed by the fried fish which wasn't done at the time, so the calamari was a little dry.

Well-kept beach and top services including catering! Prices not too cheap.

We ate very well, especially the troccoli allo scoglio, on a welcoming veranda overlooking the sea. Establishment with all comforts and views not to be missed.

For dinner, ten of us ordered seafood appetizers and 7/8 peppered mussels, practically tiny and disappeared during cooking. Nine seconds at least 6 mixed fried foods, which turned out not crunchy, rather chewy. The red wine chosen on the menu was finished, the waiter verbally listed what they had, so the prices were in the dark. Regarding alcohol, when we settled for a type of bitter, at the second request for the same, it was finished and he brought us something that tasted like vermouth, undrinkable. The only whiskey they had was also at the end. I asked the waiter why and he replied that they are also open for lunch and so things run out, meh. The two waiters couldn't wait to finish, they were not as professional as it should be. When asked by the owner how the dinner had gone, I replied that the mussels were not good and that it would have been more honest not to serve them or take them into account in the price. The owner then asked the waiter in front of me how they had been and the waiter replied that no others had complained. The waiter was therefore the deciding factor. Incredible !! The temperature was good fortunately.

Bel lido con annesse attività di bar e ristorante. Personale cordiale e ben pulita la spiaggia. sarà un punto di riferimento appena sarò da quelle parti. Consigliato.

This beach is truly beautiful, courtesy, quality and super excellent staff. Excellent food, quality raw materials, good choice of wines. Very clean solarium and jacuzzi with a breathtaking view. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

In cerca di relax al mare mi sono imbattuto in questo lido di Mattinata il cui ristorante e collocato su una splendida terrazza che guarda il mare. Ho apprezzato molto i piatti serviti, preparati in maniere apparentemente semplice ma in realtà ben studiati e tutti molto gustosi e leggeri, senza condimenti invasivi. Il servizio al tavolo è stato gentile e professionale. I prezzi, forse, sono leggermente sopra la media della zona, ma sono giustificati dalla qualità dei piatti.
