Lido La Chimera In Bernalda

We had lunch at Chimera today. We tried all the appetizers and I have to say we were completely satisfied! The first courses were top-notch.... And the mixed fried fish was nothing short of exceptional. Thank you for delighting us with all of this!

First of all, the place starts out as a beach and fish market, so the environment is a bit spartan. Apart from the welcome from the "owners?" Who stared at us with unusual looks, for the rest we had a good time. The menu was poor with prices that in my opinion were very high considering both the period and the place. We won't go there again.

The best fried food in Metaponto...very fresh fish, very fast service, very kind staff, disposable cutlery, plates and glasses...exquisite linguine, mussels and clams...
