We went to this restaurant on recommendation, but unfortunately it wasn't a pleasant experience. It's likely that during peak season, when there are so many customers, they can't maintain an adequate standard of quality. The service was decent, but the quality of the food was truly poor, as was the value for money, which I consider terrible. It's definitely not a place I'd recommend. I had the impression that, given the location and the influx of customers, they give little importance to fundamental factors like the quality of the food and customer service. We definitely won't be returning.
I went to this restaurant with friends, and I have to be honest, I expected something more.
The location is very charming, as you eat right on a lido, practically on the seafront.
It's a shame the food isn't up to par for the price.
They served us invisible mussels in pepper sauce, bruschetta with cold and bland tomatoes, and greasy fried shrimp and calamari (the shrimp could be counted on one hand).
The first courses, on the other hand, were average, but as I said, for what we paid, I expected much, much more.
The lowest rating, however, goes to the service.
Not enough staff (unprofessional), and consequently a long wait.
The waiters are mostly young men who do their best with the resources they have available.
The only thing I liked was the pizza; as a Neapolitan, I can say it was good.
The rest, as I said, was disappointing.

I went for lunch with friends, experiencing a combination that unfortunately isn't seen in many restaurants anymore: excellent in both quality and quantity. I finally ate a nice plate of pasta (full) with seafood and an excellent fried fish dish featuring the catch of the day.

Beautiful spot by the sea.
Questionable service: dirty tablecloth and missing cutlery, which we took from the next table (understandable, considering it was Saturday night at 9:30 PM). The waiter, however, was kind and helpful.
We probably came on the wrong day and at the wrong time. It's clear the food and service could be better than this.
We had a mixed antipasto, since the raw ham was sold out, octopus, and a mixed fried fish. Everything was quite good.
We recommend their warm focaccia.

A wonderful experience at Pasquale's Faro Blu restaurant. The manager was truly friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was both new and welcoming. Everything was delicious, with a varied selection and elaborate dishes. I can't wait to return!

For now, I can only rate the breakfast and beach services, and I'll gladly try lunch or dinner there as well. So far, I can say the place is well-kept, and the staff is helpful and courteous. Breakfast is excellent! I love the cappuccino with lots of cream. The beach is well-kept!

I ate at this restaurant in Sellia Marina, ordering a seafood pizza that wasn't on the menu. They suggested a Margherita base with added seafood (not much) and onion, but I didn't find any on the pizza.
They didn't tell me the price beforehand, which I expected to be in line with a regular seafood pizza (especially considering we're in Calabria and the ingredients aren't rare).
When I got the bill, I was surprised: €28.50, including service. I expressed my disappointment, and they gave me a €3.50 discount, but the gesture didn't change the point.
It's a shame, because I believe that fairness and transparency towards the customer come first. It would have been enough to tell me the price beforehand, so I could have made my own decision.
