Lido Azzurro In

We had lunch at this restaurant in Amalfi for the Epiphany, we ordered 2 spaghetti with seafood, 2 glasses of white wine and a bottle of still water (TOTAL SUM PAID 80 euros 😅) slightly too much considering what we ordered. Very nice place (I'm referring in particular to the terrace overlooking the sea), the waitress very kind unlike the rudest waiter 😣 for the rest we know that on the coast they take advantage of it a bit to increase prices. Otherwise cute 😋

Excellent dinner based on excellent fish. Right on the sea in Amalfi. Honest prices. I highly recommend!

Il Lido azzurro non si smentisce mai! Tutto eccezionale dall’antipasto al dolce, miglior ristorante in Costiera per distacco. È sempre un piacere tornare, servizio eccellente e personale accogliente, non si può desiderare nulla di meglio. Qui potete gustare la versione migliore della cucina italiana, con piatti semplici e perfetti, dalla cottura della pasta al dente alla qualità della materia prima, tutto freschissimo. Se passate per Amalfi è una tappa obbligata. Torneremo presto

My husband and I have come here two years in a row and we will never visit the Amalfi Coast again without visiting Lido Azzuro (Blue Beach). The seafood is as fresh and delicious as it can be, and Maria Chiara is so funny and friendly and knowledgeable - she even remembered us from last year! You will not find a more beautiful atmosphere as the sun sets and the moon rises over Amalfi, and every dish is so fresh and beautifully prepared by the chef. Maria Chiara and her staff make beautiful suggestions for all of the different courses as well as for wine, and we always walk away having the most memorable meal of the trip at Lido Azzuro. Best of all is the little mascot of the restaurant, a little dog named Gus who we are always happy to have greet us! If you are visiting the Amalfi Coast, Lido Azzuro is not to be missed! I only hope we can still get a reservation whenever we visit after posting this review...but they deserve it!

Our waitress was not friendly. The pasta with muscles and clams had a lot of sand in it. We tried several times to get the waitresses attention but were ignored. The table next to us left because there were sitting for nearly 30 minutes without any service. We have no problem taking time. In italy we are taking 2-3hours for dinner but are not used to being ignored when we try and call the waiter. They did take the pasta off our bill. But the whole experience was disappointing and was our least favorite meal so far. Everyone in amalfi who works here says it is the best. Maybe the best in amalfi but we have had amazing food in sorrento that outshines this restaurant.

Tavolo a un metro dal mare, luce soffusa per una giusta atmosfera ma valida al tavolo per vedere gli ottimi piatti serviti. Antipasto con più portate buone e ben presentate, risotto e altro tutto buono. Personale giovane e “sveglio”. Prenotare

Locale che ho frequentato molto in passato e che negli anni si èdato un certo tono,anche nei costi. Siamo venuti l'anno scorso dopo molti anni e devo dire che abbiamo mangiato molto bene con un servizio eccellente. Oggi forse erano in serata negativa ma il livello si è abbassato in modo ingiustificato sia in cucina che in sala. Servizio superficiale ,distratto e non professionale. Piatti alcuni buoni,,altri appena sufficienti,prezzi alti e non in linea con le portate. Location strepitosa da 5 stelle,ma giusto quella. Ho avuto un piccolo sconto forse perché hanno letto la delusione sui nostri volti.
