Lido Arcobaleno In Catania

A very large beach, with a wide beach, and a dedicated parking lot, where we decided to stop for lunch at the end of the holiday before taking the return flight from Catania airport. It is located along the coast adjacent to the airport, a long road with 4 lanes separated by a traffic island. Large parking lot, entrance with a 90s sign, and with tools lying around for various jobs (perhaps tidying up for the start of the season). Large entrance, where a kind gentleman explained the alternatives to us: lunch at the served restaurant or self service. We opted for the second solution to save time. Decent dishes, good prices. Averagely kind staff. Large internal area with tables, while the restaurant area is outside with a view of the beach. An ideal solution for a pre-flight lunch to say goodbye to the sea.

If you want to spend a Beautiful and relaxing day at the beach this is the perfect place. We had the lunch at the restaurant that was absolutely delicious. We spent a Beautiful day at Lido Arcobaleno. For sure we will return .

The beach is very nice, and the lady in charge of that access and customer service is very attentive. However, the staff at the cafeteria and bar do not speak Spanish, and therefore do not serve anyone who wants to eat or drink well. When I expressed this, a woman who seemed to be the manager or owner rudely responded to me, saying she was not interested or cared. I also ordered a fruit salad with a scoop of lemon ice cream, and the ice cream was completely diluted, as if it were a syrup or sauce between the fruit. It's 4 stars because of the lady who serves beach users.

I was today with my family and the lunch was amazing. Signore Pippo grazie mille 😀 the lido itself looked clean and well served. Showers available.

The restaurant is one of the best on the beach!

Dinner here during stay nearby. Good value for money, nice food and wines with quick and efficient service. They also sell bus tickets here, although you'd never guess. Can't comment on beach facilities, never used them

I recently visited Lido Arcebolano during my trip to Sicily. While the food itself was delicious and well-prepared, the overall experience was unfortunately overshadowed by the extremely slow service. We waited a very long time not only to place our order but also to receive our food. It wasn’t just us—other guests around us also experienced similar delays. That said, I want to make it clear that the wait staff was not to blame. The servers who were present were clearly working hard and constantly on the move. It seemed more like an issue of understaffing rather than negligence. If the restaurant had more staff to match the number of guests, the experience could have been much better. Still, if you’re patient and not in a rush, the food is definitely worth trying.

We went to the restaurant four times in our four-day trip. A large selection of great food, including delicious fish and seafood, always prompt service and lovely staff. One of the gentlemen on the wait staff was particularly attentive and embodied the spirit of true Italian hospitality and humour. 100% recommended!
